For some reason I don't understand how this sounds like Skillet. I'm a huge fan of 12 Stones, and an even bigger fan of Skillet, but they don't don't that much alike, except the pure awesomeness that radiates from your speakers when you play music from either band.

@Rawk4Life I believe it depends on who started singing first, not who recorded their song first, and for that we will never know who really sounds like who, but we can ONLY ASSUME that Paul sounds like John, only because he is older and Skillet was made first, but that doesn't mean he started singing before him... Just saying :P

@1ManBand915 Actually it does. In fact, John Cooper sang in a little known band called Seraph back in the early 90's before forming Skillet in 1996. To my knowledge, Paul McCoy had no prior experience in singing as a solo artist or in a band until 12 Stones formed in 2000. For the record, a singer in a band that formed in the 80's or 90's will always have more overall credibility than a band that formed in the 2000's.

they aren't a "christian" band, they have christian themes and paul mccoy is a christian and likes to convey a christian message through his music and lyrics, but last i heard not all of the band members were even christian, i couldnt say who but altogether they have a good theme and message but they don't like to be labeled a "christian" band

I honestly wish it wasnt so long but what I really was fustrated about was that it was 2 wks before the release that we found out. I know things happened & Im sure the label dropped a bomb on them probably. I always blame the label in the end for things like this. Im just fustrated. 7 months is a VERY long time, people don't realize it. Its not like waiting 7 weeks.
