Crack Hitler is great song. However the bassline reminds me of Bill Laswell's bass in the song 'Heritage' which appeared on the record 'Temporary Music' from Laswell's experimental band called Material.
IMO I think Jim Martin is THE most underrated guitarist ever...I mean this guy would fucking melt your face off with some bad-ass solo work and was a total fucking master of the riff...he was just fucking balls to the walls badass whaling masterful guitar player....I wish he would have been part of the reunion tour...and I hope so much that they get it together, write a new record and tour the shit out of it, because I've never had the pleasure and they need to cum to Texas...boom
@theenigmajjames I totally agree, but i dont thinks it is likely. sounds like Jim was quite pissed at the end, and had NO interest in touring in the reunion. really sad. why do the best bands of all time have to hate each other internally??
It may be true I don't have the archive to back up my statement. But, you need to take into account that it was18 years ago and music of today has been influenced by the pioneering FNM and Mike Patton who remains a pioneer and contributetor for other artist. Wait another 18 years and I bet he'll be in the likes of Jim Morrison or Micheal Jackson; Both of whom have some of their shows reveered as "The Best Live Perfomances"! Maybe?
"'Crack Hitler' is about this drug baron who takes Crack and compares himself with Hitler, because he commands enough depended people. So he thinks he's the biggest one...you know what's funny about all this? His skin is not even white! He's coloured and he thinks he's Hitler? We all laughed a lot about him, so we had to dedicate him a song."
@madamechaos I know right...I have a hard time deciding between Mike as my #1 vocalist or MJK....they both have their own distinct style...I think I'd probably have to go with MJK if it came right down to it, not taking anything away from the man himself Patton, its just MJK's voice is just amazing and beautiful at times, and very intense when he screams, but then you have all the crazy and amazingly talented shit that Mike can do with just a pair of vocal chords. Hard choice. Any Thoughts?
@zeitok8- Good question... Well, I guess since they've "Reunited" (check out that vid. if you haven't seen it) I can say he remains the greatest vocalist to date!
a lot of it was because he wasn't as interested in the branching out musically. i know i've read interviews with Bill Gould (if I remember) where he was talking about other people having to play others parts etc.

IMHO, Caffine, but I cannot get over the epic like Jizzlobber, it somewhat reminds me of a FNM version of Metallicas' Welcome Home Sanitarium.

In my opinion; over the 300+ shows I've seen, FNMs' "Crack Hitler" Show at The Orbit Room in G.R.MI was the Best Performance by a Rock Band EVER!!!!

according to Billy Gould
"'Crack Hitler' is about this drug baron who takes Crack and compares himself with Hitler, because he commands enough depended people. So he thinks he's the biggest one...you know what's funny about all this? His skin is not even white! He's coloured and he thinks he's Hitler? 1:33 is patton singing in German?
and by the way, according with the song; what does "crack" mean?
Gracias.

"In regards to
My usage of the drug...
It modified my personality
To the extent that I was
Highly irritable
I was like a crack hitler"
"crack" means "insane", if you understand. an effect of drug abuse.
and he´s not singing german (i know because i am). he´s singing "reaching up to the top, teach the world a lesson"
brunobanani04 3 years ago
and tell me dear Bruno, Patton is refering to that "Hitler" we all know?
The Führer =O

Anyone know why Martin was forced out??
aaroho211 4 years ago
according to Martin, it was because of Patton. The band changed direction when he came aboard and Jim's style no longer fit in.
