Basically every extra move you do in a combo causes the later moves in that combo to be weaker. Check out the last combo in this video:

The ultra basically does no damage since there was like 15 moves before it. Same for the later hits from the combo.

ya damage is scaled down for single unblockable combo strings. If you toss an ultra into a combo which already consists of a bunch of moves(them doing majority of dmg) the ultra wont do much at all. 2-3 hits prior to a charatcre ultra usually nets 75% of the max dmg the ultra would do anyway, overall for more dmg than without the lead-in hits.

Its called scaling the more hits ina combo the less they do. SO most super flashy long combos that end in ultras are wasting the ultra. if u can do balrog's BnB ending in headbutt then catch a jump in with headbutt+ultra your actually doing much more dmg than if you add the ultra to full combo.

thats only cause he did it in a combo so damage scaling reduced it. Plus, he didnt get all the htis in because whiffing the second punch on purpose will let the final hit connect

there are many master Abel players, Shiro isn't the only great Abel player in japan, look up Yuya, Chama boy, INK, every single player i named is miles and miles ahead of Busta, dont get me wrong, he's a great player, it's just that people are riding his dick so hard and making him seem like jesus, when in reality, he's no more than a above-average Abel
