  • that baby looks real mature

  • baby's first achievement in life. it still baffles me how so many mothers here (in the uk) decide not to breast feed, despite the fact that it is entirely free of cost and is by far the best thing you could offer your child in terms of nutrition..

  • wonderful! Babies are taken away from you in Croatia. I am going to insist on this not happening and that my little girl and I can do the same thing!

  • I'm pregnant with my first son and this brought me to happy tears, I can only hope for the same for my baby and I! :D That mother must be sooo proud, that was *so* beautiful and amazing!!! You go Babygirl!!

  • And the amazing thing is, if we let the baby find the breast for all feeds, and let the baby feed whenever it wants, almost all breastfeeding "problems" disappear. Instincts of mother and baby are strong and amazing when we give each other time and space.

  • This was so moving! Beautiful! Job well done baby!

  • i m gonna ask my dr to let me do that .love it cant wait to feed my baby.oh its kicking .she likes it too.

  • amazing, i had 5 children, all of which i breast fed, but never from breast crawl. i jst offered breast and all babies took straight away. if i have anymore, im gonna try breast crawl. its so sweet!!!! wow xx

  • Cool. Very informative

  • Wow, great latch too!!

  • My second baby was born by c-section and as soon as he was dried off he was on my chest. He latched on straight away and had his first feed while I was stitched up, it was nice to have that closeness with him in his early moments of life.

  • I'm sat here breastfeeding my own baby and crying. Well done baby!

  • That's so awesome, I had no idea the baby would hunt out the nipple like this. We really are just the most developed animals

  • More and more expectant mothers should watch this. I have met the Doctor behind this initiative and I can say for sure that this is beautiful and true.

    Spread the word!

  • beautiful. my mom is a lactation consultant, i'm going to send this to her!! thanks Madeleine!

  • Babies that don't succeed at the breast crawl either were exposed to medication during labor or likely have some other problem requiring more help. Not succeeding at the breast crawl is the first step towards diagnosing the problem. How they respond to assistance in getting latched on can also help mom and doctors figure out what is wrong.

  • yay!

  • The most basic instinct.

  • i was like "go baby! go baby! your almost there! cmon you can do it! *baby latches on* YAY FOR BABY!! I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!! YAY BABY! IM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!"

my mom just looked at me like wtf?!

  • wen the baby looked at the nipple its like wow thats for me? YESSS

  • Gorgeous :)

  • a lady came to my tafe today and told us to look this up... so amazing

in just 10mins the baby had latched...wow!

  • What if the baby never does it? does that mean some bad thing or they just pass it off and help the little guy?

  • I cheered when the baby latched onto the breast! LOL!

  • Beautiful!

  • Beautiful

  • That is amazing. I've heard of this but never seen it. It is a beautiful thing and should be adopted by everyone.
