yea it was. They replaced it with the scene where morgan asks reid whats wrong and he eventually tells morgan that the crime scene photos are getting to him. They deleted the original scene because they made it before revelations was made (when reid was tortured) and the producers realized that this scene wouldnt make scense because this is the episode after revelations and reid is supposed to be suffering with the aftermath.

It had nothing to do with time constraints. This episode was originally supposed to be shown before 'The Big Game' and 'Revelations', but it ended up being postponed til after those two. Since Reid had been kidnapped, drugged and tortured in 'Revelations', the producers didn't think it appropriate for him to be all happy go lucky and smiling in this ep 'Fear and Loathing'.
