I like Light a lot, but sometimes when I watch Death Note he makes me sick. How he controls people fo rthe "greater good" but then sometimes I think what he's doing is the right thing.

But when He killed L *sob* and smiled, ughhh I hated him.

Sorry for my rant, but I think what made Death Note amazing was L and Light together. Once L died I wanted to shoot Near for taking his place lol.
