He was a good scorer in the AHL. I'm pissed at him because he seemed to have so much more potential than he has shown in the NHL. He didn't fight much in teh AHl. He scored and made plays. What the hell happened to him? I will say that he seemd very personable when I met him.

Fritz is a horrible hockey player, Rechlicz is alright. Defiantly not a liability, hes pretty big and can fight, a good shot and he does actually have puck control, i woudlnt really call him slow either, especially for an enforcer.

Rechlicz was hysterical when he played in Albany. Extremely intense dude. I hope he keeps it going...I was thrilled when I saw he was playing that first game against the Rangers, he used to give it all last year when he played here.

A lot of the "goon" type players come off as nice guys when they're off the ice. Like Don Cherry sez, "salt of the earth". But Rechlicz looks like a really dangerous guy, like he's a bit off his head, maybe like John Kordic. I think he has a chance to become a real player, take a regular shift, if he plays smarter & doesn't take dumb penalties when he's sent out not to fight but to play a shift. He's a good skater and has some skills besides fighting.
