YHWH happens to be The Name of the Most High God. The Creator of the universe. The Hebrew word for God is Elohim.

And allah doesn't mean The God in any language. It is the name of the god of the muslims. In Arabic "al-ilah" is the word for "The God".

No one says the shahada, "there is no allah but allah" they all say, "There is no ilah (god) but allah (his name).
