Do you know what motors are used on this train? Sounds exactly like our class 319 GEC motors in the UK!

I don't know the excat motor type but they are built in early 1980s by Metro Cammell with GEC motors.

@KCR58 Normaly they are noisy when accelerating, but when it gets full speed that stops with some shaking

WOW! O_O Nice ride!

I'm just amazed at the length of this train. ^_^

Everytime I see a train video, I ALWAYS wonder is the lucky one in the 'Hot Seat' Male or Female? ^_^

Also. to ride from one end of the route to the other...what is the trip time? 40 minutes one way is my guess.

It would be really cool to see the tracks up ahead on a train like this...to get a depth of what the train operator sees daily. ^_^

The whole train (12 cars) has a length of 300m. The whole trip is around 40-45 minutes ^_^

I am sorry that passengers cannot have the front view in most railway in Hong Kong, except light rail and tramway.
