  • That's the one time where a cigarette could be potentially good for your health

  • hey i have another question. if i take a coin that's about 3 cm in diameter and like 2 mm thick and i make a fist and put the coin in between my index and middle finger with a little bit sticking out and i punch someone with it. will it be effective? or am i better off wit somein like a pen or keys.

i'm 14 and i know there's assholes out there that'll start shit over nothin. i haven't taken any martial arts classes or whatever. i'm 5'11 and 130 something pounds.

  • @DD7n go with the pen, avoid being so technical and take some muay thai classes.

  • @LukeHollowayTV what's technical. oh ya, and like i'm planning to take some sort of martial arts, but i have no idea what to take since there's like so many different kinds out there. any suggestions?

  • @DD7n All the specific things you think about doing in one situation over another are all technical things. He's saying that you don't want to be thinking to much about it. The technicals help, but if you don't train until they're second nature you're just gunna waste time(in a fight) and such. It's really hard to keep track of all of the factors in a fight, so when you do take classes keep in mind that the best moves can be altered to fit a new situation on the spot. muay thai is a good st'art'

  • @DD7n Use a pen- one that doesn't click, try to hit any pressure point or bone, if you want to look up how to use it look at kobutan or yawara stick techniques, You can kill or injure in seconds using a pen, and best of all it is a deniable weapon..."well all I saw was what I thought was a knife and I lashed out, I didn't realise I had a pen in my hand...as I broke his fingers, wrist, ribs, and knees"

  • @DD7n Yes.

  • THIS IS AN AWSOME VIDEO!!! TAUGHT ME A LOT!!!

  • What are the laws like about those kind of defence tactics in Japan?

  • @evileaub: Like I said, depending on your size, age & gender it varies.. But you can look it up on the National Japanese Police Agency site or just wikipedia.. Im not real sure what you're after.. Do you live in Japan/Coming to Japan?

  • I was just interested I guess. I live in the UK. I feel the law over here has gotten to such a point where you're more likely to go to prison for defending yourself against an attack than your attacker. I was just curious as to how it is for you, does the law view you, as some one who works in security, any differently from some one who doesn't? (if that makes any sense)

  • @evileaub oh ok, yeah mate.. I feel ya!

Big time! Same in Australia, if you are licensed (which of course I am) it is MUCH more strict ! You are not considered a regular civilian, you are a trained professional etc.. Here it's kinda of different, you have an excuse to have a baton (with out a license if you are working.. even Bodyguarding) but you need to know the law; what you can & cant do and what can be used as excuses etc..

  • Thanks for the reply :)
