Those are speed brakes to let the pilot increase speed and angle of attack.

Spoilers are on the front of the wing, to change the lift profile.

Sorry to say but spoiler use on approach is ok...and most times they move in response to roll inputs from the pilot..i.e. on the down going wing to assist roll control - this independent from the full spoiler deployment on landing.

The 'sim' games are even more pathethic, office clerks who never managed to fly an actual plane. FSX is better than FS9 in quite a few regards...but I've found it's quite the resource hog, especially in urban areas. My computer turns into a slideshow when I try to land at a major airport...so I'm stuck with FS9 for the time being. =(

And yes, if necessary a small degree of spoilers is alright, but just extending them like that destroys lift and can be dangerous.

this is fake, this is some sort of flight simulator software and it didn't show any realistic elastic movement of the wing and the control surface (outboard aileron) didn't move when aircraft banks, and finally the movement of flaps and spoilers are not smooth at all...

that was a really bad landing, you'd have broken rules there in real life. You definately were over 25 knots when you left the runway to taxi and you didn't have strobe lights on.
