It's a movement from his ballet "Rodeo", called "Hoedown". And you are right, Copland would definitely approve!

That's very good for a high school orchestra. Very powerful. Bear in mind that is not selected musicians from different schools, this is the orchestra from one school in Arlington MA. Cool.

C'est la première fois que j'ai l'occasion de voir, et même d'entendre (même possédant plusieurs disques de banjos), le banjo accompagné d'un grand orchestre !
Bravo pour cette nouvelle "association" instrumentale très réussie.
