Thanx, look out for another video, I'm calling it my ultimate tribute to the man, hope you enjoy it as well, once again thanx for the positive feedback
wow... it seems so easy for him. he's making the other player jump around all over the court. what a player...
I remember as a kid that Jansher's wins were so common and almost expected that they didn't even make the top headlines in the sports section of Pakistani papers (or at least the one that I read). and after a long time, I remember seeing Jansher in a headline in The News when he finally lost a tournament after eons.
fantastic video. great choice of music. thanks for sharing.
Hisham (his brother) told me himself way before u read it in the article and I must say it feels good to read about it in print as well... thanx for ur comments, appreciate it
Cool, just like those atari pong machines. I dont know anything about squash but i have heard of some guy called Djingis Khan or something like that. Is this Khan in the clip also a good player?
I watched Jansher & Jahangir play live for years when they were both on the tour together. Jahangir was the better player his record speaks for itself! Jansher wasn't as good as Geoff Hunt but thats just my opinion.
If u think Jansher was merely a 'fitness' based player then u hae not seen these videos properly or know of Jansher's transition to the best attacker the game has seen. He successfully made this transition in late 1992, after which he basically played an out n out attacking game and saw his opponents off court in record times. U can't do that if u r just a 'fitness' based player who just tries to get everything the opponent throws at you. Hopefully this clears some stuff up...
Hey man I am not challenging ur comparison or preference, I learned how to play this game because of Jansher so I am slightly biased towards his game n style of play but God knows fully well how much I admire Jahangir Khan's game n honor his achievments. So much so that u soon will be seeing a video on his game from me as well. Working on that as I type this, so watch out u might soon be treated to a video of ur fav. player. Thanx for dropping a line, appreciate the input
Zeyshaan, I used to train and play with Jehangir's brother in Karachi and I saw the first final of I believe the Pakistan Open when Jehangir lead Jansher 2 games to nil and 8-5 (match point according to old scoring system) and then Jansher basically won the match. I was shocked and sad because obviously I was friends with Jehangir's family. It sucked for me but I am glad Jansher went on to do what he did. Amazing player
it's in the tags provided for the video. It's a track from the original soundtrack of the movie 300, which is titled "to victory"... thanx for watching and for ur kind words
it really is scary ow good jansher was and still is.. i have talked to numerous pros that have played him and they say thay he does thing with the ball that they have never seen before...he truly is amazing
Most don't consider him the greatest of all time for nothing... Besides the ball control, the movement he had was just jaw droppingly flawless... thanx for watching n commenting
I think he is the best ever...I like your videos Zeyshan... I know Jansher was coaching Pakistan Juniors last year, I met him at the airport. I duno Y he quit...Great player though
True, this is not a racquet discussion forum, there are sites out there which allow u to discuss such things, I am glad u saw the bigger picture and I thank you for ur feedback
true.we dont have the 03 black in new zealand. i thought the tour lacked a bit of grunt for when you need to play a powerful shot.also i also liked the wilson n120 liked that too.have you tried that one?
Not big on Wilson man, but I play with the O3 tour and have no complaints, it's an absolute gem and so is the black but I like the touch better with the o3, never had any problems generating power so for me the perfect combination is o3 tour with technifibre 225 strings...
Jansher beat him for the first time in 1987 when Jansher was 18, he also became the world champion within the first year of his professional career when Jahangir was the world champion and Jahangir retired in 1993. From 87-93, the played many many times and Jansher came out with a positive record during this time. Next time check ur facts before making such comments.
yes but jahangir when most of the matches were played so he was off form, and if u watch the jahangir vid guess what the score was in the 4 th game,9-0
u r basing ur opinion on one match? Jansher beat Jahangir in 87-88, 11 times out of 15 meetings, 8 of those meetings were 3-0 to Jansher n Jahangir was only 25 yrs of age then, surely u don't consider that age 'old'
U mean another Jansher video? Yeah I am planning to work on one, I need to get some tapes converted to DVDs for that so I can clip footage from them in order to use them. For now though these will have to do, Thanx a million for ur positive feedback, always nice to read positive comments on here and check back in a week or so for another video, hopefully I will have one up by then
ISLAMABAD: Former World Champion and Pakistan Squash Federation Advisor Jansher Khan has tendered resignation from his office.
Talking to Geo News on Thursday here, he said that he served the Squash game for seven months free of cost; but, the federation withdrew Amir Atlas, Danish Atlas, Farhan Mehbood and Waqar Mehboob from his coaching, adding he wanted to make all these players world champions. However, father of these players did not want so, he added.
Zeeshan, you are not giving excitements but you are pushing and encouraging young youth to play Squash as Pakistani and regain this honor!!! I hope that young squash players are watching these videos, please follow Jansher and Jahangir style, you will be victorious!!!!

U can order a video from Amazon by the title of 'Improve your Squash with Jansher Khan' in which he instructs u about some drills he used himself for practice. That's all I know about his drills n exercises. Thanx for the feedback
there is one thing common between Jahangir and Jansher that both players play at such an ease and their opponents are running around in the court lol
Jahangir & Jansher are both incredible players!!!!!

same opinion. Jahangir kinda player can't born again. Jansher was more stamina player, Jahangir had more variety and marvelous attacks.

youve got it the wrong way round jahangir was more fitness based until american scoring came in and jahangir got bored and had no desire
jansher however was a phenomenal attacker
