    It's a straddle planche so it is a planche :)

  • You do it kinda weird. You angle your hands outward. I do it with my hands pointing straight ahead. Do you find it easier that way?

  • I find the hands are definitly individual base. Do which ever way fits your strengths. I definitly prefer this way, because with fingers foward, I feel like I'm going to break my wrist. So for some reason, I like 80% body weight on my thumbs, lol. Also I'm a gymnast so it's an easy transition from floor the parallel bars to rings, with my wrist turned this way.

  • @Thehamez usually you have to point them behind you to find more balance. i cant resist so much like that, so i point them forward :D

  • hey man i can do a planche and mantain in te same position (with my arms bent) but i cant push myself up..any tips so i can push myself?

  • psuedo push ups. (basic push up with you hands by your waist). Also incline psuedo push ups. And also, practicing planche push up while walking up a wall.

  • Yeah, a little bit of all the above, That's manly the strength I get from gymnastics and I work out up to 6 times a week. Not gonna lie, pulled that on the dance floor, I'll just say it went quality.

    But no I can't do that yet, it's been in the process, but not too much success. I want to post vids when I believe they are almost perfect. This way people can be impressed by the video instead of watching some dumb ass fall on his face.

  • Your right. Talk is cheap. Well yesterday, i tried to planche-handstand-planche-hand­stand-planche but i only got to the second planche before my arms gave out.

    But i'll post a vid soon once i get it.

  • are you doing real planches or are you stabbing your arms on your sides? Or are you doing it with bent arms? Cuz a planche with good form into handstand and back is raw!!!

  • It took me a little over 2 months real good. That video was taken after the first, I would also do the exercises everyday so I was very committed to it, it just takes time and patients.

  • what type of exercises did you do to get your body to do that?

  • I did a lot of "My Planche Training" video, elements. And also practicing holding it with a spotter and with out. Also used a stability ball, Holding a push-up position, roll to planche, hold 5 seconds and back, repeated about 5 times and about 5 sets.
