This was great, but I don't quite think they deserved first place for this one. Between the mistake at 0:35 and Frida looking at the ground a lot, this routine DID feel sloppy.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Skye and Frida, but sometimes I think they're a tiny tiny tiny bit overrated.

The double pirouette at 1:34 was crap. Either you do it properly or you don't do it. The choreography would have looked better without these turns.

@Bradd10003 The double pirouette wasn't a double pirouette. It was a double spin. Frida tips her weight back on purpose, and her body movement through the spin was really nice. What makes this routine work well is that their body movement flows so well and has alot of purpose.

@Bradd10003 haha! that wasn't a pirouette. This isn't ballet, it's Lindy Hop. there are different reasonings behind things, and it's a different style of movement.

yeah sloppy, for them, maybe . . . but uhhhh their sloppy killed everyone else's 'perfect choreography' - sorry all they have to do is a simple swing out and an accelerated turn and they just sent everyone else home.

I can't imagine what you think is sloppy about this routine... They miss hands once at 0:35 but big whoop they recovered gracefully. Everything else was spot on, awesome mix of subtlety, simplicity and just damn good dancing.

I have a bit of distaste for singling out "moves" as worthy of praise or criticism - I believe that dancing should be considered in its entirety and in light of how it all fits together - but at 0:28 they spin independently with such vicious momentum. They seem able to start and stop on a dime.

I see the two of them, with each other and other partners, do that a lot. Does it have a name? I think of it as a jazz pirouette, but I'm at a loss. It's so cool.

I think they're both supposed to be older, like a granddad, grandma routine. their both grayed and styled to be older looking.

That's the color she dyed it. I saw her a few weeks after this, and its long and light brown. and Skye stopped spiking it like crazy all the time. People change their hair all the time. THats like saying you don't like Todd and Mia's dancing because they have tattoos.
