@himgrad It wouldn't do if we were all the same - indeed, we should celebrate the fact that we are all different - I'm told by music lovers whose opinions I respect that opera is the zenith of musical expression but, apart from a handful of examples, I find it silly and just plain irritating - in spite of trying hard to 'get' it. I can appreciate the skill of these musicians and really enjoy some of the bossa chord progressions.

I'm not a specialist, but I think the chords and the melody are definitely Bossa nova... the rythm as well, though the right hand technique sound quite close to rumba flamenca. Great song anyway.

Hm if you look for the title in Russian, it's "Ya glup i potomu" (smth like "I'm fool and because of that.." in translation, but i'm not sure)

Actually the lyrics start "Я глуп и потому..." but the song is called "В ритме боса-новы", which is "In bosa-nova rythm".
