I absolutely love German shepherds, awesome guardian breed and pet. The majority of them are "naturally'' protective, and that goes back to there original uses as they were used to both herd and guard sheep from predators, and were known to confront and even chase off wolves who threatened the flock. My female German shepherd was never trained, yet, no one can come in my home if i am not there, and my brother jokingly grabbed me one day, and she went for him! For sure my favorite breed!!
