The slash is still way better if you get a stock slash 4x4 and a stock stampede 4x4 the slash would win

@AcidCatty10 This was a stampede 2wd vxl not a 4x4. The stampede will win every time because it is lighter and the power of the motor isnt reduced by the 4wd. If you floor a stampede on 3s it is gone in about 5 seconds, if you floor a slash 4x4 on 3s it gets up to speed but then stops after a little bit.

its a pretty insane idea to convert the xl-5 to a vxl becouse its lighter up front and its smaller.....! good crash= no more stampede body XD

put some lead on the front end.. if u put anuff it will keep the nose down... or build a better longer wheely bar that want let the nose pick up

@traxxasrc97 go to walmart and find the biggest egg weights and put them inbetween the front bumper and chassis. some servo tape should hold em' there

@lowrinjuggalo part of the problem is the gap in the body. that gap plus the openings in the front wheel wells act like a parachute. a tragic flaw with the slash/stampede design.

this is a very cool video. ya the 4x4 gets alot better acceleration but the stampede has a good top speed. its also a good basher because of its ride height.
