he also ha a temper, and a building of character and confidence which helped him exceed as a husband, father, friend, son, nephew, grandson, cousin....whatever role he played in life...even within his own society, finally becoming very productive and even popular!
Willow was the man! He was kind and caring, sacrificing his life for a stranger...a helpless baby? even thou he had children of his own? i just didn't like the witchcraft, which was prevalent in Ron Howards films.
Dillon only seems to see LP folk as victims and I don't know why. When making yourself aware of the unfair treatment of a community you are not a member of it is important not to take on a paternal role. The character "Willow" felt a moral imperative to care for a child and return him to his own community. Following a moral compass is to me the essence of being human. I did enjoy the first two speakers and thought they made good points.
They WHAT? LPA petitioned to get "midget" off the air! I agree we shouldn't say the word, but we should DECIDE not to say it, not be forced not to say it. I would be more inclined to listen if they said "Please don't say that, it offends me" than if they said "You better stop saying that". That's the attitude behind Draw The Prophet Muhammad Day. Bossing people around makes them spiteful.
