  • The next woman that comes along. You give yourself to God and let him do the work. I rejoice with you brother Donnie because who the son of man sets free is free indeed.

  • You guys are crazy to think that its ok. The Word of God is just that his Word. Look God loves you I love you but the fact of the matter is that its a choice. You either except it or you don't. @kveseb66 get save and take your tanted message somewhere else. And @jeffreyjaygay if you really want deliverance believe it.Stop identifying yourself with that demonic spirit. Then pray for healing and restoration of you to the image of God. Just because you are delivered doesn't mean you jump and marry

  • You know some of yall are real funny....why would you allow the devil to send to this video if you are only gonna let him use to discredit God's glory. Donnie is a delivered man of God. How you know, you asked, thank you I am glad you asked. 1. The message is not only powerful but anointed. That's reall you the only reason you need. I struggled.with the same digusting spirit. It ain't God. And for the ignorant NO I DON'T HATE MYSELF and yes I do love God. AND HOMOSEXUALITY IS NOT HIS WILL.

  • Self hating and self loathing at its best. Donnie...sir...you are a homosexual...love it! embrace it!

  • This jist spoke to me right where I am coming from but I know that God is still.in the delivering and healing business. heard someone say " just because you dont get delivered as soon as you get done praying doesn't mean its not on the way" we just got to trust him and take him at his word and he will do just what he said.

  • Amen been through some hard times in Church and home, Deliverance, is real and my dad helped me get free.

  • Amen we need more people like you to us the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Atleast Mcclurkin has the guts to open the can of worms. Some ministers on so called Christian TV do not want to tell people that the bible says " Do not be deceived - no homosexual, effiminate, idolater, fornicator etc will not enter God's kingdom".(1 Cor 6:9) If pastors are serious they need to ask God for backbone to stop setting up homosexual or effeminate leaders in church. They use talent as criterion for leadership in their church even though they know they are gay.and that is wrong

  • agreed

  • If Pastors are God's servants then more of those in the media domain/ public eye in the U.S. must start lambasting this issue and calling Homosexuality a sin and perversion as the God of the bible says it is. The bible makes distinction between the Profane and the HOLY.Pastors need to address this issue instead of being silent or politically correct because they are afraid of losing membership. If they serve God of the bible, they will declare things as GOD does and stop the popularity campaign

  • No I was never molested @RCLEMENTE21

  • More power to you, Donnie McGlurkin.

May God deliver those people who were sexually molested and those who are addicted to sex...

  • This is ministry! Set the captives free! Having been bound witht he very same sin spoken I know God is a forgiving God! These ministry that are willing to validate and affirm such do not have the authorty to do so. The Bible give the authorty to rebuke and cast out and to resotore, but not to affirm. The finished work of Christ on Calvary was God loving us so, that He gave us a path to reconcilliation. The cross is our WAY.Not acceptance of of radial inclusivism. The Cross, Christ alone.

  • That's rite doonie, take the mask off and get real.....

  • Thank you so much for this Brother McKlurkin, what you said needed to be said, and that is the truth. You don't know how much this has touched me. I was never in that type of lifestyle, but people close to me were, and i saw for myself how destructive that spirit is. God's glory shined in that message. Don't stop giving that message. People what he did was courageous not only because he told the truth but he apologized and let it be known that it is wrong. Pray for my loved ones please.

  • I see Pastor McLurklin speaking about being broken and delivered! He has a message for parents, children, and leaders. Homosexuality is taboo. The Bible is th Bible and God's will must be taught. God loves each of us but He hates our sin, each one of them. God bless him for his testimony!

  • Dnt get me wrong....I think he's a talented singer and man of God but I just believe if there is complete deliverance...the sexual passion would now be there for a woman and hence...marriage. I am an Apostolic struggling with homosexuality and I really trust that someday i will experience a change.

  • @JEFFREYJAYGAY Can I ask you a question....were you ever sexually molested? Just keep praying to God, He's the only thing that can deliver you, yes, friends and family who follow God can help but I think we all realize it is not an easy thing to walk away from but we have a very powerful God. GBU, Sir!

  • If he only knew how much God has used this testimony to deliver soooo many youths and adults

  • Can someone answer me....Why is he not married? Hmmmmmmmmmm

  • @JEFFREYJAYGAY We all know the answer to that question. He's not attracted to women sexually & he knows he can't fulfill the role of a hetrosexual man for a hetrosexual woman. I try not to get too angry with Mr. McClurkin because the abuse he experience in childhood has left him damaged & confused. God gets glory & people are ministered to when we tell the raw truth. Donnie wants to white wash his past as if it never happened. Thats not the same as being healed or "delivered". It's called denial.

  • @JEFFREYJAYGAY Maybe he is letting God control his life and send him the woman he wants him to have. Stop hating, and blocking your blessing take the blinders of your eyes. God worked on him and he will do the same for you. Just believe in him. Just as much as you are saying he is still gay I can tell you kind of envy his turn around. It can happen for you too, brother God love is relentless, regardless of how or what you do but. Just believe in him and he take care of you. God bless you.

  • Y'all need to pray b4 you put your mouths on the preacher. You don't know what his personal life is like outside of the church. Preacher's just like everybody else are NOT perfect. When the Bible says all have sinned and fallen short of Gods glory,God meant everybody's imperfections not just some people.

  • Y'all need to pray b4 you put your mouths on the preacher. You don't know what his personal life is like outside of the church. Preacher's just like everybody else are NOT perfect. When the Bible says all have sinned and fallen short of Gods glory. God meant everybody's imperfections not just some people.

  • @girlmusician24 Did you hear the same message we heard, because if you did you would have known that he admitted his sin he never said he was perfect. Preachers are not perfect not at all they are messengers and they are human, you said all have sinned and come short of the glory of god, and you are right. The only man that walked this earth was Jesus he was the only one who was without sin. This testimony was full of Gods grace and glory, did you see that, I did.

  • Y'all need to pray b4 you put your mouths on the preacher. You don't know what his personal life is like outside of the church.

  • what upset me about the negative comments is that Christians say they want to reach the gay population but yet still condemn them once they try to come to faith. Our goal is to get them to come to the alter and let God deal with their heart, not beat and shame them to righteousness. God can move and speak through ANYONE...gay,straight,bi,stealer,murderer,etc. Deal with your eternity instead of judging others. Share the gospel NOT beat the gospel on them. BTW...this comes from a christian.

  • The blood of Jesus is against Donnie and everyone who has fallen for this phony sermon. I known his little circle of gay friends in Newark, NJ. I met him and Freddie Jackson over there in December 2009. Donnie is a fraud!

  • this is how you bring you revival in the church! If the church gets like this, Jesus will come!

  • if we could only hear the truth. Get off the attack mode and listen. I promise that if you will truly open your ears I promise you God is rite there to hear & heal!

  • MIGHTY REAL!!!

  • SAD CAUSE NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO ASK U TO PRAISE GOD...U SHOULD FELL AND NO REALNESS WHEN U HEAR IT.

  • SHABBA YEAHHHHH LOVE THIS REALNESS IS WHAT THE CHURCH NEEDS... KEEP BRINGING THE REAL UN MASK THAT DEVIL IN JESUS NAME AMEN...

  • I have seen this happen before and I am truly impressed. Married w/ kids now. Delivered or not, he's still a "DRAMA QUEEN"!!!

  • much respect 4 dis man's testimony.

  • Will T.D. Jakes, Creflo Dollar...and like minds come out of the closet and reveal what went on in their lives?

  • "whom the Son sets free is free indeed"

oh to be free from all sins!!!

Thank you Donnie for removing the mask

  • First fallacy: why does one need to "learn" how to be what they are naturally. If you clap with a certain mannerism, then that's just it. No one should how to "learn" how to "act." That doesn't line up logically.

  • AT lee77004 HES NOT THROWING IT IN PEOPLES FACES HES JUST OPENING EYES STOP BEING BLIND 2WHEN PEOPLE ARE REALLY TELLING THE TRUTH. THANK GOD 4DONNIE 4BEING REAL ENOUGH 2PUT HIS PAST OUT THERE SO OTHERS MAY BE FREE. HE WHO THE SON SETS FREE IS FREE INDEED.

  • Being delivered from Homosexuality is like being delivered from being black. He is just being celibant. If a person is truly delivered then they have not need to throw it up in peoples faces because people will naturally see that they are delivered.

  • I feel the power of God . For people that dont understand this is God speaking thought him to gtt to our young people. Stop saying that this is not of God because if you truely got him you will feel his presents all over this message. He who has and ear let him hear what the spirit of the Lord is saying to the church.

  • so real. only a person truly delivered can be this real

  • not of God

  • @sage336 The Bible tells u in Galations round about hte 4th chapter and the 16th verse "Have i become your enemy since i told you the truth?" The Bible also tells us that we should know no man but the flesh but by his fruit . We as people of God should see from glory to glory and know who is of God..In this message is nothin but the glory of the God Almighty.

  • @jaysmooth625 Im apologize if i have or may offended anyone i was there when donnie was saying all of this before the service started it was a man with long pretty hair that was flat ironed & when the service was getting to open up for praise an worship they guy was told to leave by sum of the men in the church an donnie because they felt he was inappropriate. If he was gay or wont you have no right to single someone out & kick him out of Gods house an that message came from that.

  • Someone pulls the sheep's wool off this screaming queen!!!

  • God Bless You Pastor for telling the truth! Your uncle needs to be castrated physically!

  • AMAZING!

  • OMG!!! What an amazing testimony!!!....I was just brought to tears....God Bless you Brother Donnie....God Bless you.

  • STRONG WORD!!

  • I've been there.

  • @Poppa713 I respect donnie for every word he spoke. This is REAL and the world can't handle whats REAL..the devil cant handle the TRUTH.

  • @Poppa713 apparently, it's not the devil that can't handle the truth...

  • @Poppa713 Amen!

  • wow!!! being real is so needed to right now... b/c the church need it!!! but what trips me out whn is whn someone reveal there past then others stay and dwell in their past.... but they may dwell in past but their destiny is greater than then their past!!! but Glory be to God

  • @musiclover77able man*.. and he is gay.. once a gay always a gay!

  • @suretietio regardless if whos telling me what? hes the biggest contradiction ever, people who are feminine aren't necessarily homosexual and its just their character. and who says genders has to portray a certain demeanor can you provide a scripture that does? all this from a man that claims he's no longer gay? hmm sound suspicious. i love god and he's my savior and i let him in my heart, and NO ONE should have the nerve to sit here and tell me other wise.

  • @taylewinsky who's telling u wat matters to u. it doesn't matter if he's the biggest controversy ever. He's not worried about that. he was bound to the lies of satan but now he's free. so the talk of he's past is in the mouth of other people. he's enjoying he's freedom right now. i agree about what u said some people having feminine character. that's fine but men having sexual relationship with other men is not from God. loving God is shown by keeping His word and obeying it not by saying it.

  • continued...

and if u don't want people to sit here and tell u that u don't love God, then dont sit here and tell him that he's this or that. u can talk about people but u don't want people to say anything to u? that's not right, right. remember the word that Jesus said do to others what u want them do for u. and about the scripture that u asked... no one has problems in man having feminine characters, the problem that we are talking about here is being gay and whether is right or wrong.

  • this is all one BIG excuse for the reason why hes fighting he's sexuality. really your dad?? my dad was there my whole life so......

  • @taylewinsky Right, its pretty sad. But if this makes him happy...More power to him, I say.

  • @taylewinsky but your dady didn't tell u the ways of God!

who's report are you going to trust? the Bible says, satan is a lier and he is the father of all lies. now if God says you are a man, satan is going to convince u first through your thoughts that you are not a man but a woman or gay or watever. why? cause satan is a lier! don't trust him! if u give ur ears to him he will tell u all kinds of lies

  • @musiclover77able - There are so many of us who have been there, got delivered and look on in disbelief as people keep saying it can't be done and Pastor McClurkin is a liar. GOD IS A DELIVERER!!! I will praise Him for the rest of my life for being a Healer and Deliverer! I don't care what anybody thinks. I was bound, but now I'm FREE!!!

  • donnie mcclurkin.. is retarded.. he is still gay! he mad cuz he was clocked.! gurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr boom! donn`e gurr.. GONE!

  • This is powerful!! The sad part is......Many of the SANCTIFIED SAINTS (not the youth) will actually hear this and do nothing! It saddens me that the people in the church are hurting so many people with their religious attitudes and twisted theology. God help us. Praise God for Pastor Donnie being real!! This is awesome!!

  • this testimony is the an example of how satan is right in the churches...Job stated that satan was always roaming to and fro in the earth....Pastor you blessed and highly favored regardless to your childhood.....thank for keeping it real!

  • kinda pissed me off.

  • God changes us into His Image... Reign Jesus Reign! ! !

  • Donnie is ma boy for real

  • You are right, and you also making room for your flesh. And if you continue to lay around then you still are in sin whether with a man or with a woman. I hope that we agree that to of the same sex should not be married. On the other hand I am deeply concern about your spiritual well being. That you would think that God's power is limited to deliver you from lust. I pray that you my come to the knowledge of truth, and turn. I love you with the love of the Lord. Grace and peace.

  • No need arguing about the word of God. Thats what the Holy Spirit for, we ourselves can not even comprehend the awesome and mighty meanings of his word without his spirit. If you don't take nothing else from this video, recieve LOVE, LOVE.....

  • Good word Donnie

  • And yes it would be, if that couple was MARRIED. But see I know where you are going and if you a fooling around with your friend or anyone then its fornication. Still sin. And in the other case if they were not able to then our all knowing God understand this. And at this point because benevolence is due one to another and this is honorable in the sight of the Lord and if they had a child to God be the glory and to God be the praise and if not the same.

  • Comment removed

  • @IFGODBEFORME I suppose it's also a sin if one chooses not to get married. We are not living in ancient days when the earth needed populating. During that time siblings married each other due to the lack of poeple to choose from. We certainly don't do that today. We are not subject to commands God gave early man regarding procreation or marrige.

  • This is really a conversation, if homosexuality is right. My question to you is this, if God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply. And this was a commandment of the Lord. Then how would you and your partner( a guy) do the same thing. What you are saying is that if there were just men on this planet or just woman there would be mulitpication. You are saying that in a nutshell that God contradicted himself. It is interesting that you would think that God is the author of confusion.

  • @IFGODBEFORME I have a question for you. Since God told Adam & Eve to be fruitful& multiply does that mean it's a sin if a couple choices not to have children? What about those who are physically unable to have children.

  • "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion." (NIV)

  • I can't believe that this is even up for debate. Sin is sin and we cannot excuse it. Smoking weed, adultery, fornication and yes homosexuality is a sin against almight God. All sin is equal before a "pure" and "holy" god and it must be dealt with, not excused because we have not overcome it.

  • @shermbarnes It is up for debate because people like yourself assume too much & study too little.

  • @kevseb66 "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion." (NIV)

  • Jesus said, " if you love, keep my commandments." There is no other way around it. If we love Jesus, truly love Jesus above our own desires, above our own life, then we will do our very best , with the help of the Holy Spirit, to obey ALL his commandments. No debate and discussion because God is everything to us. He is the air we breathe. Make God your everything. If something means more to you than God - Remove it.

  • Ok first....What he's explaining I've been through it. So I know and I understand. And yes he's upset but......he's not upset w/ man...he's upset w/ satan and his forces and how man allowed satan to come in tear down, break apart, completely and utterly destroy God ppl, which is every sinlge human being on this planet. Now I may be young in the Lord but believe me my journey started a long time ago as a child...and it wasn't no patty cake ish! This is a serious very serious matter...smh.

  • @RyanSingsTV I mean no disrespect to anyone but...I just don't understand how he could possibly be spuring out hate, rage over the congregation when he's just trying to warn those who are facing this situation and get those who are in it at this very moment set free!!

I mean really, what did he do wrong while giving this powerful, glorious testimony of how he went through hell to truly begin living as a king, like we all are called to do in this life God has given us?!

  • God Bless You Donnie McClurkin. Man of God Continue to walk in the authority of God. Thank you for being real. Real is what we need to be prepared for warfare.

  • Why do you think that he is a hypocrite? If you listen carefully, he said he WAS gay and he is no longer because God has healed him and delivered him. He would only be a hypocrite if he said homosexuality is wrong but continued to practice homosexuality. Unless what you are saying is that you don't believe him.

  • @soapless77 he would be a hypocrite if I couldn't find a video on YouTube about the other supposed "abominations" discussed in the Bible. When I find Donnie's conviction about people eating shrimp, divorce, love of money, women wearing pants and MORE, then I will not call him a hypocrite. Until then, I will speak the truth about this hurtful, HATEFUL, unGod like video. THIS VIDEO IS DANGEROUS and my fight against it are my comments. GAY CHILDREN - BE YOU! Have a relationship TOO with God!!!

  • @babysdaddyATL Why is this video dangerous and how can you tell people to continue to sin? I'm confused. Are you saying that homosexuality is NOT a sin?? Does the bible (God's Word) say that homosexuality is NOT a sin? Because until you can show me that the Bible (God's word) says that homosexuality is NOT a sin I won't be able to understand what you are saying. All sin needs to be cleansed. Sin is the cause of seperation from God. So why would you want to continue the seperation?

  • @soapless77 God has asked us to rid ourselves of ALL sin. The woman caught in adultery was told that her sins were forgiven and you must go and sin NO MORE. God understands struggle with sin. That is why he came and died for us. But he tells us that our sins are forgiven and go and sin NO MORE!. The question is how much do we love God. Do we love him enough to rid ourselves of all the sins we cherish? Is he worth that much to us? Or do we just expect God to take what he can get?

  • @soapless77 We owe God our life, let alone our obedience! I was an adulteress. God forgive me and told me to sin NO MORE. Donnie was Homosexual. God forgave him and told him to sin NO MORE. We mustn't take this video as a "bashing" Donnie is pleading for us to cleanse ourselves so that we might be saved. He is truly concerned about our lives, our salvation, and our souls. We must all to be blessed with ETERNAL LIFE. There is nothing worth losing eternal life!!!! THIS IS LIFE AND DEATH!

  • @soapless77 This video is dangerous because D.McClurkin is using the pulpit to mischaracterizing what homosexuality is & to characterize all gay males as being potential sex offenders. He can not use his experience as an example of what it means to be gay. Most gays are raised by both parents & have not been sexually abused.

  • @kevseb66 To answer everything, I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. I don't believe that there are any limits to what He can do. I believe that anyone can be changed. I'm not naive. I know God is more powerful than we could ever imagine and He can only help if we believe and allow Him too. The God who created the universe from scratch can do anything for anybody who truly believes in His Power. That is my faith. Do not limit the power of God in your life. God is ALL POWERFUL!!!!!!!!

  • @soapless77 I understand now! Us poor wayward gays just don't have the belief in God that you do. All we have to do is assend to your level of faith for all our troubles to be over. PLEASE GET A GRIP! And what makes you so certain it isn't you w/ limited understanding? Is it possible you haven't studied this issue closely enough & need to seek God for greater illumination? I'm sure you don't think so. Not only are you naive but arrogant as well.

  • @soapless77 This video is dangerous because D. McClurkin is misrepresenting Christ to very impressionable, extremely vulnerable gay youth. I'm sure most of them are growing up in church and are already struggling with this issue privately before God. Most of them are depressed, afraid, feel misunderstood & completely isolated. D. McClurkin is only heaping more salt on these wounded souls.

  • @kevseb66 This is so amazing, because i don't see it that way at all. All I see is a man who really cares for the salvation of the youth. That fact that so many youth came forward means they identified with something he said. I really don't see the danger. I cried when I watched this. I cried when I saw how willing the youth were to come forward. Something must have happen that day for them to step foward.

  • @soapless77 You my friend are very niave. Do you really think these young people haven't heard this stuff over & over? Do you think this is their first time going to the alter concerning this thing? Many years ago i was one of them crying myself to sleep every night begging for God to change me. I was in every prayer line & every alter call trying to get "delivered".

  • @soapless77 This video is dangerous because Mr. McClurkin is suggesting God has created us all to act & respond in exactly the identical manner. What is the biblical standard for what makes a "hard women or a soft man"? According to his own words, Mr.McClurkin needs to be delivered from effeminacy cause he is not very masculine.

  • @soapless77 This video is dangerous because the message suggests one will always be at odds with God if one is gay & will never be pleasing in His sight unless one is commited to a life of pretense & misery. This is what drives some gays to abandon Christianity or even to commit suicide.

  • @soapless77 I would also argue the hypocricy as folks celebrate these type videos WITHOUT religious conviction about the other "abominations" mentioned in the same verses of the Bible. There's not this conviction because MOST don't believe the Bible intended them as abominations today. I DOUBT YOU DO! MOST with hypocrisy understand gay as sin because they are NOT gay. YET, understand with intelligence about eating shrimp, women wearing pants, etc. It's a JOKE! This video is DANGEROUS!

  • God's Word does not change for anyone. We cannot change it to suit our lifestyle, if God says it's wrong, it's WRONG, if He says it's an abomination, He hates it (the sin, not the sinner). We CANNOT justify our sins by claiming God understands us and still loves us and this gives us a right to continue in sin. Yes, he does understand and loves us, that's why He made the way of escape from destruction through the cross of Calvary by His own precious blood to break chains of sin.

  • @tmledoux Abomination? Please study your Bible. Of the 65 occurrences of the word "abomination" in the Old Testament, 13 of the things labeled "abominations" are dietary restrictions including such things as clam chowder & shrimp. Many Christians eat both. Divorce (even caused by adultery), which is prohibited by the Bible even though it is a widespread practice today, account for 3 verses on "abominations". Women wearing "anything that pertains to a man" - abomination. GET MY POINT!!

  • @babysdaddyATL yes cross dressing is an abomination. that is what the bible was referencing. The babylonians used homosexual practices and cross dressing in there worship of false gods. The dietary law was symbolic of keeping company with other nations of different beliefs. and you are right, divorce for adultery is not valid although it is a wide spread practice. However not only does the old testament condemn homosexuality so does the new. He makes it clear that they wont make it in.

  • @pgill61 It was never God's intention to have man be governed by a list of do's & don'ts. God created the Law to govern men whos heart isn't turned toward Him 1Tim1:9. It is God's desire for the heart of man to be turn toward Him irradicating the need for an itemized list of rules. In 2010 we are still debating as to which laws are still valid when God only interest is the condition of the heart Matt22:37&40

  • @kevseb66 sin is defined as transgression of the law. there is no way to get around that. If it were that simple Christ would not have had to die. I was also molested at a young age and created great confusion and conflicting thoughts about my sexuality although i never gave myself to another man. The Lord Healed me of every scar of that ordeal. I don't want you to think I'm talking out the side of my neck. As far as the heat goes, if our heart is right we will obey him. Grace isn't a pass 4 sin

  • @pgill61 Sin is state, a condition. It is not a trangression of the law because we all agree that many laws inacted by God Himself are irrelevant for today. Christ died to fix the "state" of our estrangement from God.

  • @kevseb66 Jesus said " If you love me, keep my commandments". He also said that "until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven" Matt 5:17

Our obedience is a demonstration of our love and devotion not just rule-keeping.

  • @soapless77 There is no such thing as being delivered from something as fundamental to ones being as ones in born sexuality. What Donnie should be saying is,"God wants you to live a horrible existance of emotional conflict & unfulfillment. He has no concern with whether you are ever happy, just don't commit homosexuality". That would be closer to the truth.

  • @soapless77 I assume you are a strict, literal follower of the O.T. law complete w/ dietary restrictions, clothing requirements ect.

  • @soapless77 The Law does not address homosexuality as an orientation. If you study the scriptures carfully, you will see it speak of homosexual ACTS occuring in the context of rape, idol worship & prostitution. There is no metion of intersexualism(those born w/ gentiles of both sexes or gentiles not clearly discernable as male or female) in the bible. Is it "sinful" for them to be involved w/ either sex?

  • @kevseb66 ok then help me out, because i truly want to understand. I am always open to learn. I never claim to know everything. so if i am missing something please explain to me 1jhn 3:4, and rom 7:14-23. if sin is not a transgression. and also please explain what rom 1, and 1 cor 6:9 mean. I am asking with all sincerity because if I am wrong i don't want to damage anyones psyche. I have already trashed garbage teaching that circulates 80+ % of americas churches. o please let me know

  • @pgill61 I don't think I ever suggested "sin is not a trangression". However I don't believe homosexuality to be a sin. Rom1 & 1Cor6:9 along with every other scripture used to condem homosexuality only address sex acts in the context of rape, idol worship or prostitution. The story of Sodom & G. is a perfect example. This story depicts an attempted gang rape. I am gay but I have never been raped, don't know any rapist nor have I ever raped anyone. This story has nothing to do w/ homosexuality.

  • @kevseb66 well actually you did say sin was not a transgression, but a state of being. so let me ask you. do you think male and male attraction is a natural attraction. also the effeminate would also be a male who submitted himself to unnatural lewdness. the soft actually referred to raiment(soft to the touch). So what about lev 18:22 & Lev 20:13. What about the bible defining marriage 'tween a man and a woman. Do you think homosexuality may be an inordinate affection.

  • @pgill61 I said homosexuality is a "state of being". More than simple disobedience, sin is a condition or a state. There are many thought on who are what Paul is refering to with the word which has been rendered in English from the Greek as "effeminate". I happen to think it refers to the over all "lewdness" & sexual depravity of the Greeks & Romans. I know for a fact that male/male attraction is completely natural for many people.

  • @kevseb66 hey one last thing and you can take it or leave it. i'm sure will leave it butarsenokoitēs is the greek word in 1cor 6:9 that is translated "abuser of themselves with mankind" it literally means homosexual, sodomite. I am not gonna try to rail you into changing your lifestyle , but I believe the bible is very clear bout the subject. Just try to sound the trumpet as the watchman when i see the sword coming. enjoy yourself.

  • @pgill61 I also have plenty of bible reference material in my possesion so I'm quite familiar with how these "go to " scriptures are traditionaly interpreted. The reality is there are those who have studied the Greek & Hebrew & have come to conclusions not in keeping with what has always been thought. I would have no choice but see things your way if all I ever read was material that coincided with tradtional thought.

  • @pgill61 Do you know for sure "butearsenokoites" literally means homosexual sodomite or are you quoting it right out of your handy bible concordence? Can I assume you to be a scholar, expert in the original Greek. I can tell you most cretainly are not. You are doing what most church folks do which is regurgitate what has always been taught without through study.

  • @pgill61 The passages in Lev. also refer to sex acts performed during idol worship & sexual lawless common among heathen people the Israelites had close dealings with. Lev. 18:22 & Lev20:13 is a direct reference to a form of temple prostitution where men would have sex with the male temple prostitutes in worship to fertility gods. These men were lieing with male prostitutes as they would their own wives as to please the fertility gods. This was God's warning to Isreal not to fall in to such acts

  • @pgill61 Romans 1 Paul is addressing the wild & lawless goings on in Greek/Roman society. Specifically, idol worship among the Greeks involved various forms of prostituion ( male/male,male/female,female/female). The Greeks would also castrate young boys to feminiize them & make them sex slaves to older men. Some believe the "effeminate" in 1Cor6:9 refers to these young boys. I don't think so. The original word in the Greek just means soft & is refering to their lack of restraint & lawlessness.

  • @pgill61 I think you are refering to me saying "sin is not the transgression of the law". I also said that what was sinful for the Israelites in the O.T. in many cases is not sinful for us today. Sin is much more then not adhereing to a list of rules. Righteousness is more the following the law piont by point. This is what Christ meant when he warned against the superficial righteousness of the Pharesees.

  • @kevseb66 pharisees had expounded on Yah's law and made it a condition of salvation. Like washing their hands & pots & cups. Good practice, not essential. Obedience to Yah is essential. that is why he gave moses the ordinances because they were not obedient. The sacrifices were necessary. Now the sacrifices are now longer necessary, but the obedience to Yah's law, not the book of moses which prescribed the remedy, still is. read rev 22:14. obedience is a byproduct of real conversion

  • @pgill61 Herein lies the problem. Molestation, rape ect. are not synonymous with the orientation of homosexuality. Anyone who experiences any kind of sexual violation ( at the hand of a male or female) will emerge emotionally confused. That confusion needs to be worked out in prayer a really good therapy.

  • @kevseb66 Respond to this video... read 2 Cor 10:5. and 1Cor 6:9. I have love for all people, But wrong is wrong. there is nothing in the Bible that teaches us we don't have to obey Gods statutes. when you read Col 2:14-17 you see what was abolished. The ordinances that prescribed the remedy for sin. In Dan 9:25-27 messiah is prophesied to confirm his covenant for one week. two fold meaning. He died in the midst of the week (wed @ dusk) and in the 3.5 yrs in his ministry.

  • @kevseb66 also the gentiles got the gospel 3.5 yrs after his death. after it was preached first to the Jews. It says he caused the sacrifice and oblation to cease. He was the perfect sacrifice for when we transgress the law. ie Fornication, adultery, stealing, coveting, BREAKING THE SABBATH. and so on. not only the ten commandments but read 1 Cor 14:37-38. If Live as an adulterer I don't make it in either. God still has do's and don't Don't let em lie to you. They're a lot coming from babylon

  • @kevseb66 one last thing God gave a law to the very first person who he had created before he had ever sinned.his heart was already turned toward him. but it was turned away from him when he was drawn away from his own lust and enticed. the gospel is about the Kingdom of God here on earth when Christ comes to Rule on earth, And he will have laws to govern. We will be keeping the feast days that 'eryone swears are done and gone, read Zech 14:16-19. His word don't change.

  • @pgill61 Intersexed people are born w/ manifestations of both sexes. Many cases can't be corrected with surgery. Can you direct to the law that instructs them concerning their sexuality. Are they guilty of homosexuality if they are involved w/ either sex?

  • @pgill61 My point is that the law can not address any & every given situation and it certainly can not address the complexity of human sexuality.

  • @pgill61 Homosexuality is a state of being w/ contributing factors still being uncovered by science. It is not about "lust" or being "enticed" any more than being straight is. God's Word does not change however one's understanding & knowledge should always be expanding. It's obvious you perfer hold on to your ignorance.

  • @babysdaddyATL Don't be deceived, a lot of so called christians won't make it in because they are being deceived by the teachings of the great whore and confuse grace as a license to sin. God never abolished his law. ie 10 commandments. but many christians disregard the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and the 10th, all the time. Gods word does not change homosexual lifestyles are not okay with God.

  • @pgill61The bible speaks against homosexual acts the occured in specific context( idolatrous sexual practices & prostitution). It does not condem those who are homosexual in orientation. I believe your intentions are pure but it is only God who sees the heart of man & only He can determine each of our eternal destiny.

  • @babysdaddyATL So what you are saying is that because some christians are not following other abominations it's okay to ignore the sin of homosexualtiy? My life is in my hands. I can't say to God, "Well, he's still eating pork so I'm thought I could stay gay." . He will lose his salvation for not Loving God enough to obey his rules on diet and I will lose my salvation for not loving God enough to stop practising homosexuality. Follow God's standards, not man's standards.

  • @tmledoux What it actually seems here is that heterosexuals find a way for God's Word to change for them BUT NOT FOR GAY PEOPLE! It changes for people who eat shrimp, women who wear pants, people that love money, people who divorce, even for murders and liars BUT NOT FOR GAY PEOPLE! When this (not so comprehensive list) of folks continuing in abominations ends, then you and I can talk about what you've just posted. STOP sprewing rhetoric you've heard over years. Study His WORD!!

  • How is he A Hypocrite if he's clearing his Spiritual Conscience?!

    Ninetiesbaby10???

  • @jkeys2002 thats exactly what I said. but everyone seems to think that people who believe him not to be, are liars, or in other words just the same as what they claim him to be.

  • I am not going to lie....I feel that McClurkin is a hypocrtie but he was keeping it very real....as a young gay christian male I appreciate the realness in his message...just not the deliverer

  • @ninetiesbaby10 do you feel he is a hypocrite b/c you wanna be right in your sin, turn away from it, it's not worth you soul, and eternal damnation, let God do it for you, b/c you CANNOT do it yourself, be blessed.

  • @artcar8 think of the number of ways heterosexuals "wanna be right in their sin." To sprew hatred is not of God and you turn more people away from Christ than you help to deliver. If you know the spirit of the Lord, you'd understand the hurt this video imparts. Truly, it's not of God. And to say otherwise is an example of others wanting to be "right" in their sin.

  • @ninetiesbaby10 he's not a hypocrite. hypocrites say one thing and do another. at one time he might have been, but he's not now. your judgment of him is unfounded.

  • In everything that we teach, and preach. It has to be SOUND DOCTRINE.

  • Donnie McClurkin is a DANGEROUS MAN! He is not of God and does not speak the spirit of God! And this is the most hurtful video on YouTube. This is evidence of CHILD ABUSE and that it's accessible on YouTube is a CRIME!!

  • @babysdaddyATL As a young man I found myself in every alter call in every service begging God to "take it away". These young people have already tortured themselves in prayer over & over. Because they want to be right before the Lord they are vulnerable to preaching like this.

  • @kevseb66 Well why don't you tell me then...since I'm so wrong about what "I WENT THROUGH". Please explain.

  • @RyanSingsTV I would never dismissed or make light of the experiences of someone. That said, you haven't described anything "you went through". According to you, God delivered you from the "generational curse" of homosexuality that began w/ your grandfather & ended up w/ you. Unless your uncle or your grandfather molested you or exposed you to something sexually inappropriate, I don't understand how you have concluded your sexuality to be a curse of any kind.

  • @kevseb66 did you watch the whole piece. 3 episodes. he told that his uncle raped him the day of his brothers funeral. That planted the seed. That was the point entry. it was perpetuated down through the years. he talked about it in his book "eternal victim, eternal victor"

  • @pgill61 Yes I listened carfully to what Mr. McClurkin said in all three parts of this video. I'm also familiar with the the senerio accounted in his book. He has taken the trauma of his past as indication of the character of an entire group of people. His comments falsely suggest homosexuality likely emerges out of some disfuction, neglect or abuse. That has not been my experience nor that of any gay person I have known.

  • @kevseb66 PREACH!!!

  • @pgill61 Sexual abuse is horrible & the emotional fallout is always devastating but it does not change one from straight to gay. Rape undermines the self esteem that many attempt to repair with sex in the hope of finding someone to undo what was done to them. Mr. McClurkin describes trying to find himself by giving himself to countless men which is the typical pattern for those who have suffered sexual abuse.

  • @pgill61D.McClurkin experienced sexual violence at the hand of his own uncle on what was probably the worse day of his life. In an attempt to separate himself from his past he blames homosexuality & homosexuals niether of which had anything to do with what happened to him. It's easier for him to run around raling against homosexuality then the face the possiblity that he is gay & would have been gay in any event.

  • @kevseb66 His first sexual experience with his uncle distorted and perverted his view on sex and his sexuality altogether. That experience can confuse anybody especially an 8 year old boy. That is unnatural and Against God. Coupled with the fact that there was no example of a man to show him how to become a real man lead to devastating results. Homosexuality is a choice and lifestyle that God condemns. Why would he make someone gay if he condemns it. You dont have a fair chance if thats the case

  • @pgill61 Being molested in childhood always leads to confusion and a distorted view of sex. A male child being raped by an uncle will surely cause that child to emerge emotionally devasted & confused. That confusion needs to be worked out in intense professional therapy & not the pulpit.. Instead Mr. McClurkin has choosen to take HIS own personal experience to then characterized all gay men as being sexually confused (like himself) and potential sex offenders like his uncle.

  • @kevseb66 PREACH!!! Well said. THANK YOU!!

  • @pgill61 Mr. McClurkin may be the poster child for what can happen to one that is sexually abused in childhood however he does not represent gay people nor is his experiences representative of homosexuality.

  • @pgill61 Perfectly understood here. WAIT! IF we ALL are childs of God and IF I am created in his image and likeness, then who I AM is okay right? I didn't choose homosexuality no more than someone else chose heterosexuality. I didn't wake up one day and say, HEY, TODAY I'LL BE GAY! And deal with this hate posted on this video, IN LIFE? Come on! Why would I do that? I was the kid that felt like I didn't stand a fair chance UNTIL I TRULY CAME TO KNOW BETTER AND KNOW GOD!

  • @babysdaddyATL What?! Thats his testimony of how God brought him through life!! Are you even saved, if not, you wouldn't understand....

  • @RyanSingsTV I've been saved since the age of 12 and walk a very close walk with God. I understand salvation. I also understand the spirit of God and the spirit of God would not sprew such hate and hurt onto people, especially our youth. This is more than just his testimony. This is his mission. Do you even understand the impact of such hate? Have you ever been oppressed in such a way? If not, you wouldn't understand...

  • @babysdaddyATL and also it is not hate to tell the truth, i don't see where everyone sees hate in what he said, the bible commands us to warn them that are in danger of hell. a black, christian man in the military, i full well understand oppression and hate. That was not it. We all have a cross to bear. i understand urges but we must crucify this flesh. I have had urges to cheat on my wife, smoke weed, curse when I get angry, but the more you submit to his will, the easier it gets.

  • @pgill61 Mr. McClurkin is not representing the mind of God or His character in this video. He is speaking in gross, sweeping, stereotypic generalities which tells me he isn't operating in wisdom & is not speaking the truth. Homosexuality is not a product of molestation nor are all gay men sex offenders.D McClurkin needs to iron some things out in therapy.

  • Society has branded us with hideous lables & the stigma that follows isn't easy to escape; not even in the house of God. As adult gay men & women we eventually learn the difference between man who does not & often will not love us & our God who knew & loved us before the foundation of the earth. In Him we are not dyks or faggots or perverts. Gay folks come to church seeking validation of our very existance from God himself that others can often find eleswhere.

  • @kevseb66

You really typed and spoke from your heart. You were very transparent man and I Know it is a struggle to reconcile your spirituality when church folks can be a distraction. I wish the best in your future man. I hope you are surrounded with love and that it heals any damage and pain.

If I were a gay christian then I would stand firm that there is nothing which can separate you from the love of God, not thing present or things to come. His love will see you through dude...

  • @Xchrstian4Agnostism Thanks you so much for your loving words. "We" don't get that very often in church circles. Growing up I got a conflicting message that says God loves you yet I felt like He actually hated me. Thankfully I am beginning to know the love of the Lord in a personal way. God Bless.

  • @kevseb66 I am not saying that every gay person had a tragedy like that. All i am saying is God can give you victory from every struggle. Homosexuality is a perversion, but so is adultery, fornication, masturbation, and any other sexual act that goes against the natural use that God ordained between husband and wife. Im not hatin. just have to line up with what the word says. We may have struggle but we cant accept it and wild out in our sins. If one wants to come out he can bring you out.

  • @pgill61 Homosexuality is not a perversion and for most it is not a choice. One can certainly choose never to act on one's feelings but is that what you Christians call "deliverance"?

  • @kevseb66 The only time the temptation is complete gone to sin is when the tempter is gone out of the way. Jesus is coming back soon and his kingdom will have no end. I didn't decide it was a perversion. God did. If you want to argue him then feel free. We no longer have to be slaves to our desires. Thats what we "christians" call picking up our cross and crucifying our flesh. We must die daily. And accepting that being homosexual is okay will condemn you. Jesus can deliver you if you believe
