Hi, I think he was in his early-mid 50's when these interviews were done--he looks about the same age as in his movies "Icon" and "King Solomon's Mines" to me. In his mid-40's, he looked no more than late 30's, I thought.  One of the best actors I've ever seen, and a genuinely nice person. He is missed by so many.
