the good thing about airdrums is that you can them as hard as you like and theyre not gonna break or be too loud. and they dont sound that bad

Yes, your parents are right. You can do anything even air drumming if you set your mind to it. Not bad. I think if the drums are really in front of you. You would play a good drum. I am sure.
