Back when I was in grade school, I remember having a recorder in music class. Our teacher used to yell at us for not practicing. I just didn't see the point in playing a recorder. Now I love to hear it played but have no desire to learn to play it again.

thanks for posting this..... michala petri was so young in the videos... she is a few years older now..... and yes michala petri is maybe is one of the best recorder players in the world unlike jiri stivin. the last one (stivin) better for him to get retired.

This is great!! Thank you for uploading. Wish she or another artist would do such a show these days, since construction of the recorder have developed even more, and more modern works have been written for the instrument.
