Marathon and Lightweight help, but aren't needed to get on top of the plane.

Stand at the very back of the ramp and angle yourself like this person, and strafe jump to the closest corner. Hit it just right and you're on the crates. Sprint jump towards a lower part of the nose but try to angle towards the middle and it kind of slides you onto the nose. Just hop up top.

You can still get up there you just need comando, a tack knife and a friend on the other team. your friends stands all the way against the wall facing the the small window on the right side of the blowup ramp then you knife and jump at the same time and your on top of the plane.
