@RottSimba yes on the UN the dust cover is hinged to the rear iron sight. Conventional optics will not fit. You have to get the dedicated ones.

"The AK74 uses a......stick!" :D Well, the whole thing looks like a clone of the Kalash clone of the VFC. If you like to use the crappy JG magazines, just file off some 0,5mm of the magazine catch. If you got some real AK74 magazines, fit VFC or GP internals in it. I did that after two of my GP mags broke (hook at the front broke off).

@Kavurcen the N designation in aks74N was meant for NIGHT vision, thats what the rails were primarily used for when they were imployed in Afghanistan and such for night combat. Here is a quote about it from the ak74 wiki page "The AK-74 is also available in several "night-fighting" configurations, equipped with a side-rail used to mount night vision sights (these variants, the AK-74N, AKS-74N and AKS-74UN are used in conjunction with NSPU and NSPUM sights)"
