OMG THIS IS AMAZING... I've actually been learning French for about 8 years and while my grammar and everything is ok, my pronunciation was never properly fixed...
Thanks so much for this, I'm gonna go practice :)
people who make videos at home should pay more attention to their backgrounds. I was so distracted by that aerosol can or whatever is in the back right.
@ScoutieDog People who watch videos from home should pay more attention to the content of the video and not bitch about someone who is providing a free service to people on the internet to help them learn to speak a language.
I am english and fluent in french, i go to school in france, and nobody can tell I'm english from my accent, Thumbs up if you would like a pronuntiation video
@lyakeve No French person is willing to make videos to help youtubers learn french so this is the best we're gonna get on youtube. Even if his pronunciation is not perfect he still helps us whereas French ppl have perfect pronunciation but don't help the others...
@JapaneseAnya I think it's because when a french meet an american (or english), they will speak in english. So in this condition, it's hard to imagine that they need some pronunciation lessons.... when the french has never seen any american trying to speak french !
@lyakeve I see your point, it's true that normal french ppl don't see foreigners on daily basis so they can't imagine they'd need pronunciation lessons :) And now that I think of it there are french teachers for foreigners but they get paid...
I appreciate your video. The word that I just can't seem to pronounce is parc... it's pretty tough with the "c" after the ""r". But I will keep practicing.
@Zamensis The only problem with that explanation is that linguistically it is a very soft gutteral compared to some other languages, particularly Arabic and some eastern European languages. So a distinction as being throaty can be helpful in differentiating the two.
Vous enseignez la prononciation française mais vous n'arrivez même pas à prononcer correctement ce que vous avez dit dans cette video. Je ne suis même pas français mais j'entends votre accent anglophone.
You're teaching French pronunciation but you can't even pronounce what you said in this video correctly. I'm not even French but I can hear your anglophone accent.

Yesterday I thought I got it, but today I forgot how to make this sound.
It never comes out that smoothly, I could never make it on demand.

"Troathy" you said ? I don't know if it can help you but in French we say this is a "guttural" sound.
