I'm not sure how he came up with the structure, but he came to me with a "click track" that had a clicking sound where the words and syllables would fall. He said "Write a song called Like An Eagle" or "Write a lyrics to a song called "New York By Night." Bellolo and Morali took co-credit but had nothing to do with writing the lyrics. It was great fun.
