He actually does not use Iron Cobras. He used the old Camco pedals that Gene Hoglan and Charlie Benante use. He has recently switched to DW 9000s. Hope this helped!

But to the people who are telling me the audio on his headphones is out of sync, are you fucking stupid? That is the STUDIO track in his headphones. It CANNOT go out of sync if it has ALREADY been recorded. Its Jason who goes out of sync simply due to the fact that there is no metronome... Bye bye now!

2 things,

Jason can't be out of sync, just because its Jason, Not saying he is the best drummer, but his timing is the absolute best i have ever seen with the style of drumming he plays.

Second thing is that its not the recording that puts you out of sync but what is used to play back the recording.

Some Ipods play music back faster than the same track would be played on a real pc for example.

WTH here's a third argument, his headphones are connected to a metronome.

They've taken the studio recording and removed the drums so he can play along to it, it would be like playing along to, for example Redneck by lamb of god, the "guitar only" track, and playing along with it. The guitar track isnt going anywhere, but you're drumming live so obviously you'll go slightly in and out of time.

That's why Chris Adler had his brother playing alongside him at this Modern Drummer thing

Whatever works best is a matter of oppinion I use heel Up and I can do 230Bpm no Problems, never used Heel-Toe or Heel down and never had problems with it!

Jason is a great drummer and he uses heel up, he is not the fastest, but he is a good drummer!
