  • I'm running 4in leaf springs. I believe they're procomps. They are soo stiff

  • @pwdkawi11 Yea Pro Comp springs are very stiff. One of the biggest complaints with them. I'm very impressed with the BDS springs in my rig and the YJ in the video.

  • what leaf springs are you running? mine would never flex like this

  • @pwdkawi11 I believe he is running a 2.5" BDS lift. BDS's stuff kicks ass. I built my own long arms for my XJ and I use BDS springs.

  • (gears) if you can't find em grind em.

  • @DraGonAIchemist Wasn't the gears....if you really listen to the motor it sounded like it stalled out and it was the starter trying to start a running motor.

  • @SnowDogmarc so let me get this straight. The car stalled (meaning the engine has shut off) and the starter was trying to start it while it was running? Makes no sense man. The guy grinded a few gears let it be.

  • @DraGonAIchemist

Ummm I was there...DRIVING it I think I would know. So was my friend who took the video. Turn up the volume and listen to it at 2:15, it lugged to almost stalled which I thought it did and put in the clutch and hit the starter. It was still running and it's the Bendix that you hear grinding on the flywheel. Tell ya what...go start your car and once it's running try starting it again and see if it makes the same noise. Oh and BTW..a Jeep is NOT a CAR. Any true Jeeper knows that.

  • @SnowDogmarc yeah true jeeper...hit a trail or 2 and your the truest jeep man i know. I'll take the loss at being wrong tho. Your right you did try to restart it which was kinda dumb, cause when pushing in the clutch the engine free spins once again and stays running. Any "true" knowledge of "cars" and you would know that Bear Grills.

  • @DraGonAIchemist Read above, that was one of the last trips on that YJ's engine. It was running poor, thats why it would not rev back up quickly after the clutch was pushed in. As far as Marc being a true Jeeper he is. He has taken that little YJ on many trails and has made many other rigs look stupid.

  • @jackrussellhonda man i dont' really care. i made a comment, live with it.

  • @DraGonAIchemist

"True knowledge of cars"? Have you ever built a motor from a bare block and had it run like a top? How about change the gears in your differential? I've done both as well as hand fabricated my sliders and custom aluminum overhead console from scratch. What other than bolt on some fancy rims to your IROC have you done? Bear Huh...a guy that brings a full crew with him on his show. I've been 100 feet from a Grizzly, Have you even seen one outside the zoo?

  • @SnowDogmarc Dragging this on man, its a fucking youtube video jesus christ. I do not have an IROC Z. If you check out my video's its a 350z. To top if off i have a 92 Wrangler s 4.0 as well. To throw more icing on the cake i am an Auto Tech. So yes i have done rebuilding of engines, and i build engines for people on the side. Not to mention i repair and work on all them vehicles in my Video's. So the fact that i made one comment, then started messing with you don't lose sleep guys.

  • poor YJ sounds under the weather :( Looks good going down the trail!

  • @50rutledge Yup, that was one of the last trips for that little YJ's engine!!! It lasted a few more before it died. Marc replaced it with one from a newer YJ and its working good now.
