They make a jig that holds your connecter and also takes a little heat away from it at the same time so it doesn't melt so easy. Also found that brand new tips or a freshly sanded tip on your iron works better too!
@multiplechoicename It's the fastest 4-pole 36mm Brushless motor from Castle. My 6900kv hit more than 50mph on only 2s, so I'm sure you could get a 7700kv to go faster than that. I wasn't planning on only 2s though!
@thedriver The front wing it to keep the front end down. It's pretty small in area so I didn't think it would produce too much drag. The rear wing I've driven both with and without it on and I'm definately keeping it for stability sake. I can adjust the downforce though for less drag. How is my calculator bs? I need some scientific method to be able to caculate gearing and estimate drag properly. So far it's helping a lot.
@Photo314159 look bro, if u spent less time punching numbers like a mad scientist, and more time on the road you would level up ur skill points faster and go 50% quicker
calculating the parabola's trajectory is for pussies who cant afford this awesome coke
@JellyFisher97 Yep! I can get kind of obsessive sometimes. I need to use actual measured data with my setup so I can estimate drag at various speeds, then It'll allow me to pick the perfect gear ratios for the speeds I'm trying to hit.
Hey what do you think of the rpm front bumper I was wondering if I should get 1. Also arethose the stock shocks or are they the new v2 ones??? I just bought my b4 2 days ago used and I was wondering what upgrades I should get... Thanks
@Supermage479 RPM makes 2 bumpers, this is the one more for bashing, the other is like a stronger factory one. I like both of them. When I race I'll put the smaller one on. These aren't the V2 shocks, those come on the newer B4.1. V2's are completely not needed since they function the same as the old ones, they only assemble differently. As for upgrades: Motor, esc, battery, radio in that order would be my suggestions. Oh and bearings depending on the condition of yours. Good luck!
Its called the jig up

is that a 1/10 scale ecx boost???
MIkloven53 2 months ago
@MIkloven53 I'm not sure what you're asking. It's an Associated RC10 1/10th scale 2wd buggy, if that's what you mean.
