Larry Elder is not an "Uncle Tom", which is a term that ignorant people call intelligent black men. He simply wants blacks and their leaders to call for personal responsibility, and he comments on this very issue at the beginning of this interview (if you'd actually listen). He also comments that Obama will be a good advocate to push this "unlimited potential" forward in the black community. Elder did not "lose" his job, a contract couldn't be worked out. Rantel is a bad example of a Republican.

After the economy started tanking then, why is it Bush's fault?

Look at the reasons for the recession.

The housing bubble dropped & many people reneged on their obligation to pay mortgages. Bush did not jack up housing prices. Congress pushed banks to loan to people who cannot afford it.

Oil also increased; if Dems allowed more drilling, that would not have happened.
