I really thought Obama was pandering to the GOP throughout the whole speech...so, I don't get all this 'bitterly partisan' crap the right is saying.

They just play politics with everything. Obama spent the whole speech pandering to the right by saying how many of them he was working with, how he would look at TORT reform, and admonishing the left.

The irony is that the right is so bitterly partisan that they didn't even notice.

I am truly concerned about the stability of the U.S.

Lately, I've seen the media and Washington completely dodge the economic issues at hand. No plans to repay the deficit. The money presses have been going wild ever since Bush came into office....yet they continue under Obama to run wild. No clear end in sight.

I really do see the collapse of the dollar heading our way and I sincerely believe it may be too late to do anything. The Democrats and the Republicans have failed the American people
