  • iam from India and i like the music from 3:10

  • FOREVER EASTERN TURKESTAN! NEVER sinkiang or whatever!

DAİMA SHARKİY TURKESTAN HECH KACHAN sinkiang EMES!

  • i hate when nonuyghurs sing uyghurs folk song, cuz not so beautiful as the original song and their language r not uyghurche, nor uzbekche....

  • chinese commie fantasy of inter-ethnic harmony which never existed

  • @diegochinito

then everything is easy, get that?

  • Where in xinjiang is this?

  • 1:25 Checking out her ass?

  • these girls are uyghurs from uzbekistan. They are a band.

  • I love this song.

  • Nice video, if only people who are completely biased against china being communists could see the actual diversity and freedom people have in China (to an extent considering the Uighur problems)...but look at the riots in the UK, even 'developed' countries are having big problems with minorities, it can't be helped!

  • Urumqi stayed a small "provincial town" with Han and Hui and Kazakh and uyghurs settling into the SLOWLY growing town. After the communists victory in the Chinese Civil War then the Han population EXPLODED and Urumqi became a major HAN CHINESE city. During the huge Han migration into Urumqi the uyghurs continued their slow migration into Urumqi thus why they only represent about 14% of the total Urumqi population today.

Again Urumqi was NEVER a "uyghur town".

  • Urumqi was NEVER a "uyghur city". The location where Urumqi is located was the home of Kazakhs and Mongolians. The uyghurs home was to the south in the Tarim basin NOT the Mongolian Dzungarian basin. When Urumqi became a city in the mid-1800s it was populated mainly by Han and Hui soldiers and traders. Only as Urumqi developed did the uyghurs begin to migrate north from their homelands to the south to Urumqi.

    (cont.)

  • these girls are not Uyghurs they are Russsians

  • @DannyShaw3388: I don't know what their ethnicity is but I do know they are NOT Russian/Slavic.

  • @lukebccb Some have Russian in them but they are a mix of middle-eastern/central asian/ chinese heritage.

  • @lukebccb we r uyghurs....

  • @DannyShaw3388 You have obviously not been to china or know of the diversity. The language they're singing isn't russian and the market shown is located in China.

  • @pinkandblackmentos you mean East Turkistan occupied by China. Uyghurs never accept Chinese occupation. Get out of East Turkistan, U Chinatzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzi. Go back to your own land. Stop occupying homes of Uyghurs, Tibetans. Go and make something out of your own homes.

  • @DannyShaw3388 holly sh it , maybe u r russian !!

  • selam from Turkey

  • cok guzell ..ben de Urumciyi görmek istiyorummmmm....Ana vatan uygur.. kizlar da masallah cok güzeller :)

  • uighurs probably are the descendants of the european caucasian trible called the Tocharians who were discovered buried as mummies in the tarim basin region. there DNA even confirms European Haplogroups of R1a and R1b. and of course they also have asian miexes as wellll. the chinese don't like the fact that europeans lived in asia more than 5000-10,000 years ago before the building of pyramids in egypt.

  • @BOGZASV8MA Many East Turkistan activists and American NGOs have been puching this argument for some political purpose, but they have difficulties to defend themselves when comes to the language roots and immigration.

Tocharians were ancient Indo-European Persian tribes, they were using Indo-European languages (East and West Tocharian languages). Uyghurs are turko-Mongolian tribe and their language is in Altaic language family.

Uyghurs originated in today's lake Baikai area ....

  • Lake Baikai located in north of today's Mongolia. They immirgated south to Mongolia around 650Ad or so and built up their Uyghur Empire until it annihilated by ancient Kyrgyz tribes around 850AD, then they escaped to today's Turpan and Kashgar areas in today's Xinjiang, that is, Uyghurs moved to today's Xinjiang (where Tocharians archaeologic findings are) very late in history - around 850AD or so.

To say Tocharians are ancestors of Uyghurs is just the same as saying ...

  • ... just the same as saying Greeks and Armenians are ancestors of Turks, and Greeks and Turks are speaking languages rooted in the same language family.

Of course, that is a joke unless you have some hidden political agenda.

Remember, Turks have only been today's Istanbul (was called Constantinople) for less than 600 years.

Again, Uyghurs are Turko-Mongolian tribes and originated from today's Mongolia area. Tocharians are ancient Indo-Europeans origniated in Central Asia long before 500BC.

  • Archaeological finds of Tocharians are dated as earlier as 1800BC. Persian Achaemenid Empire reached to today's Afghanistan in 500BC.

Today's Afghanistan, Tajikistan and parts of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan still maintain the ancient Persian language and custom as today.

Uyghurs immigrated to south of today's Xinjiang only about 850AD - that is very very late in history.

BTW, it is an Uzbek song performed by an Uzbek group in the video. It is NOT Uyghur song and the girls are NOT Uyghurs.

  • @sogdia As for Iran , almost 50 percent of the population is J which is an arab semitic marker..you could find this in the mid east and also there are sub clades within the haplogroups- different groups - you need to educate yourself on pop genetics to know the real history.

  • @BOGZASV8MA Which ethnic are you?! Turkic? Arabic? or what?!

  • @sogdia tocharians existed in what is china BEFORE THE EGYPTIAN PYRAMIDS WERE BUILDT.

  • @BOGZASV8MA YES! Tocharians are ANCIENT tribe, they were in Central Asia since ANCIENT TIME. they had different names and they moved around in Central Asia, too. Chinese call them as "Yuezhi". They had been called Tchari, Kushan (in north of today's India/Pakistan).

You don't sound like you know something in Central Asia. You'd better be careful what you are saying. It is just like that Greeks Armenians don't like to be the ancestors of Turks. We don't like to be the ancestors of any Turkics.

  • @sogdia I guess YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND anything about what I had wrote to you. the so called turks in ASIA MINOR do not have 100 percent connection with their CENTRAL ASIAN TURKISH COUNTERPART discovered in GENETIC EXAMS.

  • @sogdia Did you also know the oldest haplogroup in Europe is I. ????

  • @sogdia Did you know the pigmentation for white skin may have originated in CENTRAL ASIA like 50,000 years ago?

  • @sogdia so that means mutation of white skin entered 50,000 years ago. and before that the world was inhabited by darker skin people and neanderthals were white .

  • @sogdia they did radio carbon dating on the material from the TOCHARIANS- and they are way OLDER than 850 AD. I am sorry to say how science can prove whose your father in the court room....

  • @sogdia they should network and get resources to help the Uighurs from persecution in china.

  • @BOGZASV8MA Did we talk about the political agenda behind the accusation of "Uyghurs persecution in China"?! I don't think we did. What I said before, and I will say it again:

Ancestors od Uyghurs have nothing to do with ancient Indo-European Tocharians. It is just like ancestors of Turks got nothing to do with Greeks or Armenians.

US governement sponsored East Turkistan activists may push this argument, but it is just a ignorant nonsense.

    BTW, Do you read English?!

  • @sogdia Yea I read english and where are you from ? If I were you , I would research the National Geographic Genographic Study on DNA and the HAPLOGROUPS collected from different ethnic groups. 50-60 percent of europeans are R haplogroups .R1b western. R1a western. Uighurs are the only group in asia that have 35-40 percent R1b , 30 percent R1a . and the rest C, N and O which are ASIATIC MONGOL hap groups. CASE closed.BLOOD doesnt lie

  • @BOGZASV8MA DNA depends the ethnics of your parents and grandparents. Turkics/Turks (such as Uyghurs) are mixed blooded all over the places. It is just like today's Turks. they originated from today's Mongolia, but now they don't look like Mongols at all. This is because of the generations of mixed blood. Turkish Ottoman Empire also had the policy of mixed blood.

BUT, to say the ancestors of Turks are Greeks or Armenians, I bet Greeks and Armenians will be pissed off completely.

  • @sogdia well the Greeks and Armenians DON'T realize from GENETIC exams that modern day TURKS don't have CENTRAL ASIAN HAPLOGROUPS like their counterpart in TURKMENISTAN. the mongol haplogroups are C,O, N ,

  • @sogdia As for western Turkish haplogroups, again blood doesn't lie. 10 percent of the turkish population have C or the mongol central asian haplogroup. While the other haplogroups are J, G, E3b, I and some r1b. 90 percent of the turkish population are inherently in characteristic with their neighbors : Jews, Greeks, Arabs, and Romans carried by romans . when the ottoman invaded, they just massacred the noble or ruling classes but WEREN'T able to rape all of the 12 million inhabitants.

  • @BOGZASV8MA DO NOT MIX THE ANCESTRY WITH MIXED BLOOD. Mixed blood are just offspring, they are NOT the pure ethnic.

If you go to today's south Xinjinag to see these Uyghurs, many of them still looks like Mongols, especially those Uyghurs in Turpan area (central east in Xinjinag). Once for a long while, you will see some Uyghurs looks like Indo-European. some even have fair skin and brown hair, these uyghurs are mixed blood.

  • @sogdia there is NO SUCH THING AS PURE ETHNIC according to scientific results. I am sorry your biaseness is NOT scientific

  • @sogdia so DNA doesn't lie unlike biased historical documents or accounts. if your mother wanted to get alimony (money) for child support from your daddy, she could get a DNA ordered by court -match it with your dad ...and if he is your daddy , your mom could win her lottery ticket.

  • @BOGZASV8MA DNA on a MIXED BLOOD shows teh MIXED BLOOD DNA. You can't say the ancestor of Turks are Greeks because you took the DNA from a mixed blood of Turk and Greek.

As I said before, I say it again here. Uyghurs are originated from north of today's Mongolia in Lake Baikal areas (in today's Russian south Siberia). They are probably spinned off from Teli or Dingling tribes. They have NEVER spoke Indo-European language. They got nothing to do with Indo-Europeans.

  • @sogdia No you are wrong - SCIENCE HAS PROVEN the EUROPEANS WHO LIVE TODAY - R1B and R1A ARE NOT NATIVE TO THE EUROPEAN CONTINENT. THEY ARRIVED MUCH LATER INTO EUROPE KILLING OF THE I haplogroup PEOPLE.

AND THAT PIGMENTATION OF WHITE SKIN COLOR IS FROM CENTRAL ASIA.

  • @sogdia as for languages, i can explain "why the difference"? many groups have adopted languages from their invaders or some other reason . most people in the world now speak english as a langauge of business. like many non roman ethnic groups used LATIN as the language of commerce/trade/govt. or tocharians lost their langauge and descendants took a turkic oriental language.

  • @BOGZASV8MA There is nothing you could hide if an ethnic ADOPTED a language or writing scripts from other ethnic. .

Obvious example is today's Egyptians are speaking Arabic. Nearly all the people in Mesopotamia are speaking Arabic. All the Turkic and Turks were using Arabic/Persian writing scripts once upon a time. Even Uyghurs are still using Arab/Persian scripts as today. That is the results from Arabic invasion in history.

  • @sogdia well thats your OPINION if ethnicities ADOPTED but sometimes they could have been FORCED.

  • NIce video and sweet music, :-)

  • the music is OK, but these girls r pretty hot. let's bed with them LOL

  • Uygur Turks!!!

  • this music is cool

  • offffffffffff ..My God ... what can I say to these people?

  • davie2009march and KCAASE shut up u r mouthes.....

  • just because some small radical group with the foreign help trying to disturb the peace of China. It won't change the reality Xinjiang is part of China.

  • why people always debating where the Uyghurs come from ? Just because they don't know where they are come from? most of the early Xinjiang history is recorded in Chinese. Sure the original Uyghurs could have been coming from the Mongolia. Later with the additional mix of Turky, Greece and Iran. a little bit of this and that. so what, These people have since been part of China for many centuries.

  • Why do the Uighurs live in the Chinese territory? Why don't they return to their ancestral lands in Iran or Turkey or Mongolia or something like that. Also how come some of the Uighurs have Asiatic look? Man I am all confused now. I think the Uighurs are like the Jews settlers in Palestine.

  • @KCAASE Uighurs didn't came from middle eastern coutries such as turkey, greece or iran, they came to xinjiang from siberia, uighurs were originally siberian native people.

  • were is this? Kzakstan

  • this music sounds very much like Persian music. Great.

  • I think Maria Ozawa and Jessica Alba is Uyghurs bloodline.

  • right, and Jesus is Mexican.

  • XIN JIANG problem is not about ethnic problem, it's about religion! There are 56 ethnic groups in China. Only three groups make problems: 1 uygur, 2, tibetan, 3 hui. Hui is not separist, coz they spreaded around China, but also has lots of conflicts with other ethnics, Why other major ethnics have no problems with each other, ONLY them? Coz they are muslim, and secial buddanism (tibetan).

due to the rule of their religion, it's hard and rare for them to communicate with other chinese

  • Roasted Goat or Ram!!! Yummy like Roasted Pig.

  • we are muslim we support uighurs!

  • I am a human being , I support what is right... regardless of faith... except for jews , they are the exception.

  • I am chinese from china. I like Nadira face. Her face like chinese movie actress face. Her face also sexy. Is Nadira also from Uzbekistan? Chinese music producer buy copyright from them and advertise and sell their songs VCD or dvd to uyghur and chinese market in Xinjiang and chinese market. I like this song (lover) very much. This song better than some chinese songs.

  • This video proves that All the people can stay peacefully together in China.

  • absolutely correct

  • Right. Chines and uyghur can live peacefully in xinjiang if Chinese majority respect minority uyghur and minority uyghur respect majority Han chinese.

  • @neverwinter911

This video proves that some beautiful women from this ethno-national group can sing and dance...and that the Uyghur are profoundly different-in appearance and culture-from the Han.

  • @jmsmith363

Doesn't mean that they can't live peacefully together....

  • Kazakhs in China and Mongolia are still using arabic letters also, not only uighurs.

  • Mongolian kazakhs don't use arabic...
