anyone who says its infrared is right anyone who says its bluetooth is right becaus eit cnnects with blue toot but uses infrared to be able to move the WII cursor
Actually, you don't need Darwiinmote, if you have OS X Leopard on your Mac. It works without any additional software.
When you pair your Wii-Mote In OS X Leopard, there is a check-box that says something like 'Allow this device to control this Mac'. If you check it, you can use the Wii-Mote in Front-Row, in iPhoto photo slideshows, in Keynote presentations.
So, put simply, OS X Leopard is Wii-Mote compatible out-of the-box!
it's not bluetooth..it is infrared..movements sensors inside the wiimote understand the kind ov movement, and with INFRARED it collaborates with screen (trough the IR-bar that you have to put upon tv)..
For the motion sensing, you need an infrared source that the wiimote can use as a frame of reference, like a candle, or some infrared LEDs. But the remote sends data to the computer via bluetooth, so the buttons and things can be used without an infrared source. The motion sensing, however, cannot be.
i doubt Nintendo Wiimote works with any Apple computer
i've tried setting up my Apple iMac computer no success
