Great video...Ginger looks as beautiful and sophisticated as ever in this film...which, by the way, has just been raised from 3 stars to 4 stars by TCM...along with "Swing Time". This means that 4 of the 10 Fred'n'Ginger films are rated 4 star. Th uniqueness of this film, more even than the dancing, is the great Gershwin music. He died just after the film was finished. If Gershwin had lived he intended more films with Astaire and Rogers. BTW, he dated GR, and his last words were of Astaire.

Wonderful intro to SHALL WE DANCE, one of Ginger Rogers & Fred Astaire's top performances. It was also one of George Gershwin's swan songs. It rings true, as the soft focus of Ginger's blue face breaals my heart as Fred sings "They Can't Take That Away From me."
