Is Centrino the same as Intel Core 2 Duo? Because I'm getting a A300-1MC and on the product specs it says it has a Core 2 Duo but when you look at the sticker it says Centrino??

is this just as good as toshiba a300d 15B? same specs? if not, then hows that better than my 15B. mine has amd turion X2 ultra 2.1 GHZ, 4 GB RAM 512mb graphics ATI, HDMI PORT, BLUETOOTH, TV OUT..... etc

i think u insulted the laptop u cant say good its perfect and i dunno bout your laptop cause i never trust AMD processors and i never used a AMD laptop processor but i have a Compaq with one but believe me its damn slow also my Toshiba isn't 512 mb graphics i made it 1279 MB which means it plays games like playing a old Nintendo game i mean faster than any laptop i tried its like a desktop pc but its a laptop get it? :D

Intel centrino and ati = hardcore gaming ;)

lol my laptop aint 512mb either when i activate shared graphics lol! i was talkin dedicated is 512mb graphics! plus AMD turion ultra 64 X2 is better for gaming than your intel (lol) i didnt mean to offend you, i was just asking u a question. Plus if you do yur research the u will find that my AMD processor combined with the ATI HD RADEON 3650 graphics combined together is better for games than INTEL combined with the graphics card! INTEL plus that graphics card is more for applications.

cool :) my A300's just shipped as well - can't wait to get my hands on it. Got it for 1400AUD (~1200USD) on ebay with specs along the line of T9400(2.53ghz) 500GB, 4GB, 512 ATI 3650. I hope this'll last me for about 5 years :P

Oh, definitely. I've got this laptop and it runs most of the new graphically-heavy games that are coming out these days, like UT3 and Crysis.
