People. I realy recommend painting from your mind some female bodies rather than using references. cause if you use reference to learn how to paint perfectly, it's more complex and you'll get lost in it definitely. I'm new to this stuff too and i know that best teacher is your own ways and experiences. Damn i wish i'll paint like him someday =D

He uses a wacom, but this isn't lllustrator which draws vector graphics and not raster images.l I have emailed him a few times if I remember he uses coral paint and this is done in photoshop, if you look at the brushes pallette you can tell it is photoshop

no, don't use Illustrator for that. You should use a raster program for this type of stuff (unless you have insane skills with vector drawing programs) As far as i can tell, hes using Photoshop in that video. But really, there's like dozens of alternatives you could use to draw like that (OpenCanvas, Painter, Manga Studio, Gimp, and so on)

Your drawing videos are excellent, but i don't think she's an anime or manga girl. Anime girl have big (and rounded) head and eyes and less detail on the face. Also anime girls (usually) have a small mouth. But anime girls always have more details in the hair and their clothing. And the most crucial point is don't ever use sexiness (like hot girl pose) into an anime girl, anime girls usually use kawaii (cuteness) or moe (萌え) rather than sensuality..

But i think all of your drawings are awesome!

Yes, i know. And another realistic anime is Ghost in The Shell 2 Innocence, although the artist make the face so realistic, they use some kind of cel-shading or toon shading to make it looks cartoony or like an anime. Meanwhile this video use some kind of shading that almost look like a beautiful painting.

If the anime girl is drawn realistic, use the cel-shading/toon shading.

If the anime girl is drawn kawaii or 萌え, you may use cel-shading or shadings like the video...
