Anyone happen to know what music they used for this trailer? It's not from the "Avalon" soundtrack and I'd really like to find it if I can. It's beautiful.
@PhineasDisney81 I thought it was from the Avalon soundtrack. I used to have a CD of the soundtrack, and I'm pretty sure that piece was on it. (I love the score from this film -- I think Randy Newman got robbed when he didn't win the Oscar for best score that year.)
The number of Nepalese Indian food shops has increased in Japan. When their son and grandchild can make such a movie in 50 years in Japan, it is wonderful.
By the way, Japan is countries of the people who ran away from Asia for 2000 years. Though the name of ancient father has been forgotten.
I'm curious about watching this but i'm not sure...i'm in the mood for a good Elijah Wood film but i don't know which one to start with, any suggestions?
@chrysta77 The Good son is an excellent film but it' a psycological thriller, you've gotta like it. There's also the Adventures of Huck Finn or Radio flyer all in which he's a kid, good movies. Adult or teen are The ice storm (never seen but it looks good) Lord of the Rings (of course) Flipper is also a great movie. Will that be enough? ;-) Otherwise you can put Elijah Wood in wikipedia and you'll get his filmography
@ilovelij Yup that's perfect! Thank you! I've seen The Good Son and i've always loved it, and Lord of the Rings ARE my favorite movies EVER. Hee hee, I think everyone's seen Flipper, thanks again!
all these years later and this is still my favorite movie ...i always cry at the end.. "he was'nt born here...He came to America in 1914, he said it was the most beautiful place he had ever seen"
Do you recall the song that was being sung at the club when the brothers were out with there wives? Something like- what a great big wonderful world we live in- can someone help me fine the song?
@curtisbonniep: I know you asked this a while back... If you don't yet know, the song is "It's a Big, Wide Wonderful World" by Buddy Clark. You can look it up here. Cheers.

I think it's this movie that started Elijah Wood in the real big screen buisness. Does he have an important role in the movie?
