Yeah well I made a mistake, dont get it, its too slow and the touchscreen is BAD. I only kept mine for a week then changed it for a blackberry for now, just until i get an iphone 4.

if you mean the bottom of the phone it's intentional, to prevent the scratching if you put it againest a solid surface like a desk etc..
