  • It seems like all ya'll want to drive an alright car, but seem not to care about it because it's an alright car. If you take care of your sh*t like you take care of a lady heheh you should be fine man...now quit throwing dirt at this clean ass car!!

  • @GoldenBoy714CA It may seem alright buts is not buddy I had it for 2 years now and I know whats wrong with it. Taking care of my cars are number one priority and i put the same care in my other cars as I do in this Audi but I guess mechanically these cars suck. BTW during this video the car was OK but I am talking about the present. This Audi is like a hot girl who takes all your money due to high maintenance but its pleasing to look at and drive ;)

  • @PeterGriffin4200 What exactly has gone wrong with your A6 in the recent past ?

I would use a similar analogy about a high maintenance girlfriend to describe my first car: 1987 3-series.

My second car was a 1996 Camry LE. Not one problem during the year i owned it.

  • @onetwothreefour721 Well first was the alternator @130K( which is fixed $500) it also has bad valve cover gaskets and CV axles too; it has an engine misfire and the engine light is on and it doesn't pass emissions, which is a problem with a secondary air injection valve with is expensive to fix. All in all I am looking at almost $3,000 to fix. This cars have common transmission issues and I found out mine was already replaced by previous owner (thank god).

  • @PeterGriffin4200 Yeah, that's a lot of things gone wrong. Is smoke coming out of your exhaust because of the bad valve cover gasket ? I've read the A8 (d2) has the same transmission problems. .

  • @onetwothreefour721 The Audi drives like a dream though, it handles the road with German perfection and it has a smooth ride and is very quiet. If the Audi wasn't high maintenance and unreliable I would keep it for ever. I also have a 1994 Toyota Camry in my family since last 11 years and it has 300,000 miles as of now and it has been very reliable throughout the years and even to this day it runs good and feels like it has more life left in it. i wish this Audi was like a Toyota.

  • @PeterGriffin4200 I can imagine how nice the ride quality is. Driving my Dad's 1980 S-class, the only way to describe it would be "majestic". German cars I love, Japanese cars I like.

Is your Camry the 2.2 liter inline-4 ? Mine only had ~140,000 miles when it was sold.

  • @PeterGriffin4200 Really beautiful car, this.

  • I have a 2001 Audi A6 and it runs perfectly, no problems on it once or ever...I get a lot of complements too and I like it better than my old 2 door 3 series because its roomier, drives smooth and It's a cruiser...nothing wrong with the bimmer, but I'll stick with the Audi better!!

  • any car will last you a long time and is reliable if you take care of it. check your shit and you wont have problems, people call these money pits but its all bullshit. my dads had his for 10yrs 169k miles and it still runs perfectly and has not had any mechanical problems or electrical or anything. all these problems the owner of this one is talking about are due to poor maintenance by the owner...smh take care of your stuff people.

  • @Kossake09 Thats the thing I do take care of it very well and still its causing numerous mechanical problems. I also have a 1994 Toyota Camry, which is my workhorse car has never caused any problems other then normal maintenance and it has 295,000 miles with (original engine, original transmission, original alternator, original valve cover gasket etc) and I use it rough and still is more dependable then the piece of shit Audi. Alot of people I know who own an Audi has complained about problems.

  • @PeterGriffin4200 i own my dads now and the ONLY problem we have EVER had with it is the spark plug wires, which isnt SHIT in my opinion. take care of your stuff and nothing bad will happen.

  • @Kossake09 As I just said before that I do take good care of it but apparently its falling apart. Consumer Reports has rated Audi low on reliability along with its other German competition(BMW, Benz etc). I have never had any issues with my Camry. I know an old lady who has a 2001 Audi A6(since new) like mine and she replaced transmission twice and her car doesn't even have 100k miles yet and she did regular maintenance at Audi. You were lucky to get a "good" Audi and I am happy for you.

  • I might also get this car but i wanna know how the car is maintenance wise and i wanna know what insurance would be because im a 16 year old guy

  • @Shwammy1 I have insurence with Geico and its reasonable price for minors. Maintenace on the Audi is expensive and the car is not very reliable. I have had the alternater($500) replaced at 130K miles and it was also replaced before by previous owner. Now it has a bad engine misfire and leaking valve cover gaskets(misfire due to oily spark plugs) and it also has a emission problem that will cost $700 to fix(overall cost to repair is $2,500). I am trying to get rid of this German money pit.

  • @Shwammy1 free quote: sence you have no experience at all, according to the age you have...talking about full coverage...it will be around $170 a month to $180, around there. It also depends in the zone you live. It's a fabulous car pal!!..good luck!

  • I think im going to get this for my 16 bday a white one 5% window tent lol

  • @Heem24100 You will like it a lot but just be prepared for high expenses on it

  • @Heem24100 lol yeah i saw the 2001 audi a4,ill get that

  • how much for your car?

  • @chanch09 $5,000 obo now has 139,000 miles and I want to sell it....:)

  • i was looking for a 2.7t or 4.2L but, im still undecided between one of these or subaru impreza/legacy. Need a awd.

  • @xMonsterKx125 Mine is an AWD but the 2.8 V6 is slow of the line but on highways speeds it packs decent punch when using Triptronic mode.....its a nice car but I wanted the 4.2 V8 ( the 2.7 Bi-Turbo had failure problems)

  • Yes! very nice considering of getting one myself. Just gotta sell my car first.

  • @xMonsterKx125 I am selling mine....are u interested?
