  • My Lubuntu boots up in 20 sec, 30 with BIOS.

  • my Asus notebook boots Win7 in 30 seconds and linux in 7 seconds all on a serial ata harddrive.

  • This Asus 1000HA boots in 1:32second...I should have mentioned it. This netbook does not have a serial ata, this netbook isn't even available for purchase anymore. Under 40sec is less then 1/2 the boot time.

  • i have the Asus ul30vt

  • @jodorowsky00 Wow. 7 seconds? What Linux are you running? Mine takes 20-30 SEconds. Windows takes 3 long minutes.

  • XP on Asus 1008 with its standard bios boot , launches in 33 seconds from the cold. So the boot speed is nothing impressing, especially for linux.

  • this is an early pre-beta. They will announce a new version today.. btw. Win 7 Ultimate on my NC10 boots up in 20... oki, i am an SSD cheater ;)

  • Nice one Nicole. Is the GMA 500 support built into this version? If so, I better get a test going!

  • You better get testing!!! Link it as a response video when you do! I'm excited to see what you find out!
