OMG this is exactly the way how Ash looks like in my mind! All the actors that people used to make videos of this book don't look like him at all. Even the model they used in the Iron Kight cover doesn't look like him. But of course, that is because these are manga characters so it's easier to make them look perfect.
A few years ago two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to see if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said "Get the kids and get out of the house, we'll call the police we don't have a clown statue". This book shattered my heart. So did Iron Daughter. When Ash was.... *coughs* urhm, not himself after he tried to get the scepter back... I cried. I cried and cried and stained the pages of the book. Now I'm at the Healers, and jesus, why can't Ash give up and love her freely already? Dammit!
