Motocross peaked when Evel stopped doing them. All these guys are doing this on bikes with HUGE suspension travel, rigged exactly for big jumps. Evel did his shit with Harleys and they were heavy and they were basically stock. And as cool as this was, it was nothing like strapping your ass to a fuckin' rocket trying to cross a river. Evel ALWAYS kept his word. He did it all, the only reason this stuff even goes on today is because of that guy. God bless him.
