When you go in the ring, at the scary fillers.. cos you've got 45 secs after the bell goes to get to the first fence try and walk around and let your horse have a look at the fences. Also at home get some really really scary fillers, make them terrifying, like cd's with the coloury flashy bit all over the wood and rugs over the poles, and proper spooky things and get him over them over and over again and then he's got no excuse out and about, try and book a place with fillers and practice. xx
No she's extremely bold except for the odd occasion like at the welsh flag where she came around the corner not concentrating, took one look and went OMG. I never have to worry about her not jumping the fillers because she'll jump anything, but its getting her to jump which is the hardest thing because she stops like no tomorrow, well she used to but now its getting rare, she's come on a treat. bless her. if i saw that welsh flag id run out the ring, so she did well to jump it.
