Wow, this brings back some memories! I was 10 years old and was just learning about football when I was watching this game with my dad. When I asked my dad (an MSU grad) what team I should cheer for, he told me the Green and White. I became a Spartan fan on that day, and now, 22 years later, I'm as avid a fan as ever.
