hey can anyone tell me how he did this? I need to do a practical invest and i wanted to base it on water tornadoes but i have nooo idea how to make one :(
get a machine that you put milk and fruit in to make smoothies and stuff.. just put in 1.2 litres of water.. ( if it fits) and turn it on.. it hopefully works
what kind of tube is that?

I'm sorry, you seem to not comprehend tornado's are formed from air currents of differentiating heat levels.
I see a blender with water in it.

What would happen if you put the whole thing in the freezer while it was running?

@Audinos
Nothing, unless you had a freezer that's -195 Degrees.

I don't think this is a vortex. It appears to be just water pulled to the side by centripetal force.

wow, 8 inch tornado, pretty hefty indeed
ornyboy1976 1 year ago
isn't that basically a whirlpool machine? looks awesome, but it's water, it's spinning to where there's a vortex, and that is what a whirlpool is.
I will say that it looks like a tornado, though. But I would call it a whirlpool.

And yes one more thing. Try to slow down the turning speed of the motor by reducing the voltages by a variable resistor.
Subspace4d 3 years ago
MY friend use dirt or styrophor to visualize the flow of water. As you can see here is a doubble vortex forming as usual.

Instead of food coloring which mixes in seconds, try adding cooking oil instead and see what it does.
