Methane Releases from Arctic Shelf May Be Much Larger and Faster Than Anticipated

Research results, published in the March 5 edition of the journal Science, show that the permafrost under the East Siberian Arctic Shelf, long thought to be an impermeable barrier sealing in methane, is perforated and is starting to leak large amounts of methane into the atmosphere. Release of even a fraction of the methane stored in the shelf could trigger abrupt climate warming.
I can point you to the study that shows Co2 makes 2.9% of all greenhouse gas, and man made Co2 is 3% of that, and Co2 makes up 3.62% of the greenhouse effect. You do the math.
Ice core charts show that Co2 FOLLOWS temp, it does NOT predede it.

Volcanoes actually release sulfur dioxide which is known to reverse the greenhouse effect. Al Gore didn't create this data, he just gathered and presented it. It's true the current technologies for renewables couldn't get us off of fossil fuels, however the impact they can have is enormous. The CO2 is NOT 0.0003%, it is actually about 0.036%.
On the other hand, that is still a hundred times less than the most dominant greenhouse gas, H2O at 0-4%
