Some years ago after seeing this video, I decided to try it out and one time I accidentally got the right momentum to fly straight to Gaius' head! Man that would've been the fastest time attack, but it was hard trying to stab his head and stomach because he kept shaking so much!! -__- Doing this momentum thing again was hard...I could never get it as I want.

@DaBigEgg Indeed, that is however a tough feat to do, even for someone of this caliber I would have to say. I've tried said technique myself and I've only ever gotten halfway (belly, works for me though)

OMG please somebody HELP idk what happened i beat time attack on hard but i ddnt get my ICO sword. nothing happened after i beat the last one. I AM SO PISSED all that work for nothing

you mean queen sword? maybe you are missing one colossus.. go get the sword to the pool.

did you get all the times under the required time limit? and check the pool of water.

This is old, but if you there is a glitch where if you defeat the regular colossi instead of just doing NTA/HTA all at once, you won't get some items.

So if I defeated all the 15 NTA colossi, went and killed the 1st colossus in story mode, then went and killed 1 more NTA colossus, I won't get the Queen's sword.

Best thing to do is beat story mode then do beat your HTA times all over again.

@gmltui Probably you didn't recorded all the colossi in the same playtrough. Just kill another 2 (it depends on how many times you made new game +) random colossi in time attack and the game should count them as 16 colossi defeated ;) (it happened to me too)

No, there is a hidden spot on a colossus head where it doesn't matter how much they shake, you won't be shaken.

to do the 'sword jump' you need to jump, then pres R1 (or what else you use to duck) then stab him, and you need to hold R1 and stab

I think armageddal meant jumping from the Colossus' sword directly to its head, through the use of momentum. I've seen it done in the "colossi stunts" video, though admittedly it was that video's final stunt (and thus probably the hardest that person did).

Is there extra armor on him because he didn't hit the stone thing on the ground? (I'm not asking about the armor on his arm, I mean the extra armor on his neck and shoulders) And when I do the roll thing, theres a much longer pause before I can do it again... Would there be a reason for that? Som1 please answer.

in fact, there's another way, if you stay near the end of the sword and you jump just when he pulls it out of the ground you can even reach his head.. i've seen that video on youtube..

cool vid! That's actually how i got to the top of that colossus the 1st time i played the game coz i didn't know you had to make him hit the metal plate thingy in the middle... i learned about this 2nd time round
