For those of you who don't know this, Alanna Reed Hall passed away about this time last year at age 63. She was Rose on this show, but also Olivia on Sesame Street. She is the only human character from Sesame Street that I have seen make it big on a TV sitcom. Is it me, or do the stairs outside of the apartment look like a bigger version of the outside staircase on Sesame Street?

I first discovered "227" on "BET" back in the 90's. I was born in 1989, so this show was in it's 4th season when I was born. I used to watch it every evening at 6 and 6:30. I was sad when BET stopped showing it and started playing damn rap videos. This was around 1997 into '98 or so. Good show, but should of lasted a little bit longer than 5 seasons.

The good sitcoms have gone the way of the dinosaur and the dodo - they're extinct. It's a sad shame, really.
