To be honest the collapse of the dollar will affect many global markets however it is a little arrogant to suggest it will cause this great an impact. The British Pound Sterling for example is a very sound currency and worth nearly double that of the dollar and I'm sure the collapse of the dollar would put a smile on many Eurocrat faces. The Euro is the strongest independent currency on earth, it only reliant on its nations. And don't start ranting about Greece, they were not powerful enough to sustain it in the first place.
The Dollar however only survives through the link between oil, gold and the currency. That is the only thing that keeps it standing. I guess it's time for Europe to be in charge again as it has always been.

When oil is bought from let's say OPEC countries, the trade is done in Dollars. So to buy oil, you need to buy Dollars, same accounts for gold. Not a single oil trade is performed in Euro so in fact our currency is only dependant on it's nations. Your currency cannot surive w/o the oil, gold link.

The Euro is the strongest independent currency on earth, it only reliant on its nations. And don't start ranting about Greece, they were not powerful enough to sustain it in the first place.
The Dollar however only survives through the link between oil, gold and the currency. That is the only thing that keeps it standing. I guess it's time for Europe to be in charge again as it has always been.

When oil is bought from let's say OPEC countries, the trade is done in Dollars. So to buy oil, you need to buy Dollars, same accounts for gold. Not a single oil trade is performed in Euro so in fact our currency is only dependant on it's nations. Your currency cannot surive w/o the oil, gold link.

It is why the US , ooops I mean NATO (wink wink) invaded Libya. Not because kaddafi was an evil person, but because he planned to make a solid gold currency and it would be used in all of Africa. It would under cut the US currency. Look it up. The US goverment is currently devaluing the Euro because it was stronger than the dollar and people were going to switch to the Euro. My goverment is pure evil.
